Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

Dozer jumping into pool

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I purchased an air fryer during lockdown to make cooking faster and easier and it has been SUCH a game changer! I’m amazed at how well everything turns out, especially meats like chicken and pork chops. I’d LOVE to see what amazing recipes you could create using an air fryer! Please, please, please consider getting one and playing with it. I know you’ll be impressed! 😘

Could you add a ‘Salad’ category to your website? I’m loving all of them and to have them all together in one place would be so handy….oops just found them in the ‘sides’ section!! 😂

The Dozer interview was a blast! Encore, encore!!!… 🙂 When and where is the next one, if there is to be a next one?! 🙂
Okay, recipe request, I have a few… but first and foremost Nagi, we must take care of my persistent craving for Korean Fried Mozzarella sticks…They look insanely delicious! I have never had the pleasure of tasting one and I will always feel like I haven’t really lived until I do…I truly believe that you and Dozer will save the day with the ultimate Korean Fried Mozzarella Stick recipe! Thank-you in advance! You’re both the best! 🙂

Have done about 5 or 6 recipes of your recipes and they never failed me. In fact, they went straight to my ‘Collected recipes book’

What I think I never found in your blog is Maroccan cuisine, specially the Kefta meatballs dish. I would truly appreciate.
Congratulations on everything else. You rock.

Love your blog and recipes, but since COVID cooking for one or two people are more challenging and less motivation.

Ideas on 1/2 a recipes (not all work by reducing) or half for now, half for later in the freezer so you don’t have to eat the same thing, but enjoy later.

I like the variety of cultures you cover and the clear instructions. Pictures are super helpful also

Also trying to learn more recipes for instapot and air fryer, late to the game, but haven’t done many so far.

Also wish list items tasty restaurants style meals, cut down to simple impactful ingredients, like 30 minutes cooking and minimal prep.

    Always, thanks!

    Dear Nagi,
Since your “Tell Me What You Want” post came out, I’ve been wanting to tell you what I want, but I’ve held back because it might be too much of a request. Please feel free to tell me if it is.
I’d like to be able to send you recipes that I have questions about. Sometimes a certain cut of meat turns out tough, and I don’t know why. Sometimes the flavoring needs adjusting, but I don’t know how. Those are the times I wish I had a professional chef on call. (Actually, I wish I had a professional chef all the time, cooking all our meals!)
    Thank you for listening!
