Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
Hi Nagi
Love everything you make…..always see recipes for different styles of crab cakes here in the states, but what about an amazing Deviled crab recipe ? Can’t seem to recreate the same restaurant quality tastes I remember.
Thanks
David
Gosh I must confess I have never had devilled crab! I just had a google and it looks delicious. If – no, WHEN – I try it myself, I will definitely consider sharing the recipe! N x
I want a recipe for the perfect Japanese Cheesecake,
Hi Jane. This is Yumiko, Nagi’s mother. I am currently working on Japanese baked cheese cake so hopefully, I can post a recipe on my blog site, RecipeTin Japan soon.
Would love to see more videos for your recipes Yumiko!!
We are working on it Wanda! We have plans… 🙂
Hi, my name is Peter and I love all your recipes, I would love to see a real authentic meat curry recipe, with all the fresh spices thank you so much.
Sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce!
Just published it! https://promotown.info/sticky-toffee-pudding/%3C/a%3E 🙂
Hi Nagi, You mentioned in a recent post using your Breville slow cooker
I would love for you to share a favourite. I purchased a Masterpro 12 in 1
as the Hotpot is not available in Australia 🙁
Thank you.
Hi Maddy! It’s called the Breville Fast-Slow Cooker and it’s our Instant Pot, it’s been here for years and years! You can sear in it, it has a slow and pressure cooker. The only thing it doesn’t have is one touch buttons for rice / yoghurt things like that, but those are quite restrictive anyway so you aren’t missing out 🙂 It is the BEST kitchen investment I made after my knives. I love it! N x
Hi Nagi
I love your recipes and every one that I have tried turns out beautifully. The one last night was Stewed Hamburg Steak (Nikomi Hamburg). Wow! packed with flavour. I served it gracing the top of Mashed Sweet Potato.
I would like to request a recipe if possible. My daughter has requested ‘Beef in Black Bean Sauce’ for her birthday dinner. I guess she is expecting the dish from her local takeaway (yuk). I know if you have one it will taste amazing. But if you do not thank you anyway.
Thank you
Hi Nagi,
I love making your recipes!!
They are easy and delicious!
I have made the port braised lamb shanks, scones and the sausage rolls over and over again and they are to die for!
I would love to see your Beef Bourguignon and chicken Marsala!
I always look forward to your emails and can’t wait to see what the next recipe surprises are??
Best wishes, Monica
Hi Nagi,
Thanks for the great opportunity to request a recipe! So, I would be very happy if you could post a recipe for NO CHURN ICE CREAM, but besides the recipe using mangos, which you already gave. (Good mangos are very hard to find where we live.) Could you recommend any other fruit for this NO CHUR ice cream? For example, we really like strawberry and banana ice cream.
Thanks a lot!
Barbara from Estonia
Hi Nagi,
My search for a great chicken mole recipe is my request!
Thanks,
Rich
I LOVE what seemed to me GROUNDBREAKING- your baked wing recipe. I am very particular about my wings being extra crispy and delicious. I’ve never had wings prepared the way that you suggested and am amazed how simple (and CLEAN) the recipe is. I would love some additional “hacks” in the kitchen that produce better dishes!
Hi Nagi, I would love some recipes where tofu is the star. One of the only things i have to go to other food blogs for! P.S. sooo many of your recipes are regulars in our house, this week alone we have had butter chicken, the vegetarian mexican lasagne and soba noodles with beef. so thank you!!
Hi. This is Yumiko, Nagi’s mother here. My blog, RecipeTin Japan is a Japanese homecooking recipe site but there are some tofu dishes if you are interested, eg. Agedashi Tofu, Scrambled Tofu.
Hi Nagi. I have a special file with your recipes. My family love them. Some favourites are Chicken Chow Mein (top of the list. It’s a once a week dish especially if the grandchildren are coming) Chicken Tika, slow cooked lamb shoulder with crispy potatoes and beef stew. The list goes on Never a failure. I would like to request a Vietnamese noodle salad recipe. I’ve tried some but the sauce mixture is never quite right. I love it. It’s a simple dish but if the sauce isn’t right. Well 🤷♀️ Much like your chow mein. The sauce is the secret. Thanks.
If there is any way you can do a snow cheese fried chicken recipe? It’s amazing at Red Pepper Bistro, a korean resturant in strathfield x
Hi Nagi, even here in Germany your recipes are loved. My husband suggested an Indian tandoori and veggi recipe, not too much meat in it. That would be great.
Thank you,
Ruth
Well one of my all time favorites would be good ol’ king Prawn and vegetables, just love that clear garlicky sauce (even the recipe for the garlicky sauce would be awesome lol)
Our very fit Labradoodle, Bentley, will be 13 years old in November and acts and behaves like a young dog. Please my I have your Pooch Cake recipe.? Smiles.
Chicken in Black Bean Sauce – my absolute favourite Chinese meal! And I simply cannot find a recipe that does it like my local Chinese takeaway, but I am certain you can get to the bottom of the mystery!
Tom Yum Thai Chicken Fried Rice Please
Hi Nagy–
I’m surprised you didn’t mention your “pork carnitas” as something people go bonkers for! It is the best!
As for recipe requests, any chance you know how to make sapin sapin? It’s a Filipino dessert that I’ve tried to find a good recipe for but can’t. I’ve tried a couple that I’ve seen out in the blogging world, but they’ve come out too cakey. I need one that tastes a little more like mochi. Your help would be much appreciated, although no worries if that isn’t something you make.
Thanks for all your wonderful recipes! Your site is a favorite!
I have just bought myself a bread maker. Would you have a really healthy recipe for grains, seeds in it like the small $2 one I our local Coles supermarket please
