I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you?? 

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

    Hi Nagi,

    Every year my family makes something special for Christmas. Last year, we made your Beef Wellington and it was amazing. This year we are thinking about making Porchetta and we were hoping you would have a detailed recipe to make the best one we’ve tried (we’ve had a few fails in the past)

    Can you clarify what you mean by “prep time” in your recipes, please?
    Do you mean mise en place? Post gathering the items from around the kitchen?

    I always double or triple your estimated prep times because I can never do it in the time you suggest! 🙁

    Hi Nagi (and Dozer), i would love a receipe for cheddermite scrolls like they sell at Brumby‘s. I think i read somewhere you love them too?
    I have tried to make scrolls msny times but they are never similar to the Brumby ones…thank you.

    Hi Nagi,

    I would LOVE a recipe for Queen Elizabeth cake. The ones I have tried are either too sweet to too dry. A gooey, coconut brown sugar frosting and delectable moist date cake are a must! Would ABSOLUTELY love your take on this as you make your recipes easy and delightful!

    Do you have a recipe for Turkish Bread? Love your recipe for Garlic Bread Pizza.
    My daughter (who lives in Scotland with her family) and I are always trying and discussing your recipes. I was asking her the other night if she had tried the Garlic Bread Pizza from Dinner and she was telling me she can’t buy Turkish Bread in Glasgow!!! Hence the request for a recipe for Turkish Bread.

    Hi Nagi, I’m not sure how many people are as crazy as I am and make their own chicken liver pate. My friends love it and it’s frequently requested. What a can’t achieve is that super light and silky texture that restaurants get. I whip and pass and pass but never get there.
    Also, another suggestion! I was just reading through the many recipe requests you have. It would be great to have a “like” button so we could express our enthusiasm for a particular

    Pork trotters please. My butcher gives them to me (already pickled) for free and I don’t know what to do with them other than boil them with a few cloves and dying veg in the fridge.

    Also chicken liver pate.
