Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
Hi Nagi,
Would it be possible to share a recipe for spaghetti carbonara?
Cheers,
Andrew
YES! The real one 🙂 No cream! That’s been on my list for ages. Is that the one you are after?
An amazing Pilaff RIce as only you could make please 🙂
Oooh! I have so many! What type would you like? A spiced one?? Like Middle Eastern / Persian? Or an Eastern European one? I already have lemon / lime / Middle Eastern Lentil ones 🙂
umm too may options 🙂 but Persian sounds so exotic……so can we go with that, maybe including variation for middle eastern and/or spiced ( I do love my spiciness)…or is that asking too much ? 🙂
Hi Nags,
Can you please share Hot Battered Cuttlefish recipe please.
Thank you in-advance.
Battered seafood is on the list! 🙂
Rogan Josh please
It’s already on the list!! 🙂 N x
Could you post some low carb and low or no sugar recipes? I know there are lots of websites out there who specialize in them but many just don’t cut it as far as taste. i would love to see your take because you have an amazing ability to make everything taste great.
hi,
i want to ask you whether the steamed bun recipe would be the same as a baked bun? I ate two delicious baked buns at the pike place market in seattle (bbq pork and curried beef) and i have craved them ever since but can’t find any in nyc.
Hi Nagi, have you tried the Sweet & Spicy Crunchy Chicken from Midori in the Castle Hill Shopping Centre? I’d love to know if you have a recipe for this dish. Your mum’s Yaki Soba are delicious and a delicious side to this chicken recipe. 🙂
I haven’t but the next time I’m there I will try to remember!!
tom kha. . . Or pho? 😀 😀
Pho has been on my list for sooo long! It’s just the oxe tail…. it’s so expensive!!
What about a beef/chicken/pork vindaloo?
Vindaloo is on the list!! 🙂 Curries always take time to create – they are some of the harder recipes 🙂 N x
Pork Belly and Taro in Claypot please Nagi. This is the literal English title in my favourite local Chinese restaurant. It is fabulous comfort food with a thick gelatinous aromatic gravy, cabbage, pork belly and thick slices of taro. Thank you x
Clay pot has been on my list for ages!! I will add it to my list – I need to get back on it!
Would love the recipe for Char Kway teow, combination
Trust me that’s already on my list!!! It’s been on my personal list for years 🙂
yusssss!
I’d love some kids recipes such as mini quiches, savoury muffins anything for kids!
Hi Joanne! Have you seen my Cheese Muffins? It’s kind of a master recipe so I have suggestions for add ins like antipasto type things, grated veg etc!
Corned beef hash
Caramel apples – like a toffee apple but with caramel
Caramel apples!! Sticky chewy or crisp like toffee apples?? Did you see the caramel baked apples I shared the other week??
Sticky chewy – love these at Halloween – cover in caramel, then chocolate and then a topping. I’m getting carried away now loved your caramel baked apples – who can resist apple and caramel.
I will try to remember for Halloween! Please remind me if you don’t see one leading up to Halloween!
Hot and Sour Soup please!
That’s coming soon! I shot it last week 🙂
Greek lemon potatoes PLEASE! (And I loved your Quiche Lorraine for what it’s worth!)
Oooh! Definitely added that to the list! Glad you loved the quiche! (Darn, now I have a craving)
A rich and spicy vindaloo! 🌶🌶
Ooooh! Bring on the heat!!
I would love to have “bake in the oven” spare ribs. We live in a rainy part of Oregon and we just can’t bbq all year. I love your commentary. I’m thinkin’ if this food thing doesn’t work out….yeah right….you can always go into stand-up comedy. I’d love to see you on youtube….you’d be another sensation…you and Dozer! : ) Have a great weekend!
Have you seen my oven baked ribs??? Finger lickin’ good!
Trinchado ( olive oil and garlic) please.
Hi Nagi do you have any no carb no sugar recipes.
Thanks
Maria
I’d love any dish for just one or two people. I live alone and unless I have company I cook for just myself and get tired of having to come up with something different to do with leftovers for a week and a half!
I thought I’d already posted this request but I went through the comments and couldn’t find it. I apologize if I already put in a request and just couldn’t find it.
Thank you!
