More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x
Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
I have been looking for 2 years now for a really good cheese and vegiemite scroll recipe but everthing I’ve tried is more like a scone dough I need one that is a bread dough. Please help
Hi Nagi,
Please may you make a recipe for bee sting (Bienenstich) cake!
Please please do a copycat of the Apollo’s slow cooked Greek lamb shoulder with yoghurt sauce! I know you have done similar but it’s slightly different and I have been trying to adapt your recipes to make it the same with no luck 😭
Good evening Nagi – I would love to see your take on a Tom yum fried rice with chicken / prawn etc spring onions and see you incorporate the Tom yum paste but also a creamy element to it like coconut milk etc…
Also why I am here I went to your website for a corn beef and white sauce reference and was shocked to not see you had done one yet 😳😅 dying to know your take on this too …
All our love and support – Katie from Port Douglas far North Queensland
I would LOVE any of following to come out of Nagi’s kitchens!!:
1. Chilaquiles – just haven’t found a killer recipe.
2. Penne/gnocchi a la vodka – seems so ridiculously simple, yet there are so many recipes and none with a great tomato-vodka balance.
3. Pepper Beef Chow Fun – just want a reliable recipe to try at home.
Hi Nagi.
Could you please do a recipe for Chinese ham and chicken rolls with sweet and sour dipping sauce.
Love your recipes. Thank you 😊
Bao please!
I had a muesli biscuit at the Sydney Dance Company cafe last week and I loved it- I think reminded me of something I had when I was little. I would love a recipe for something like this. Thank you!
Would like to see Braised Steak & Onion recipe. Last time I made it, it was a low effort, high flavour recipe, perfect for winter. Can’t remember what recipe I used though and noticed you didn’t have it yet.
Hi Nagi, not a recipe suggestion more of a cookbook one…would you consider opening up the comment section on your cookbook exclusive recipes?? I find scrolling through the comments super helpful and miss it when I’m cooking your excellent cookbook recipes ❤️
Sangria!
I’m searching since forever for a tasty doable Malai kofta recipe and since your indian recipes are all soo marvelous, perhaps you can also create a fantastic easy Malai kofta recipe ✊🏻.
Pandan cake!! One of my favourite foods and I know that you would figure out how to make the lightest, fluffiest, yummiest one ever!
Hi Nagi,
Just an idea! A cuisine you haven’t covered yet is Serbian/croatian. Sarma (cabbage roll) , punjene paprike (stuffed capsicum) pasulj (bean soup). They are a few popular ones at the top of my head 🙂
I would love a section on baked chicken wing flavors!
Jerk wings
Garlic wings
Parmesan wings
BBQ wings
Mango Habanero wings
Etc. 🙂
Hi Nagi,
Looking at your cinnamon scrolls, got me thinking towards a similar recipe for the Australian Bakery version of the walnut and apple log (loaf). It would be great to be able to whip one of these up as people pop in for coffee xxx
Love, love, love your work Nagi, been following you for 8 years now xxxx
Hi Nagi
Can you please do a recipe with beef mince and vegetables in a baked potato. Thank you 🙂
I cooked okonomiyaki for the first time on the weekend after hearing about the dish. After a Google search I combined your mum’s recipe with another. I’d love the “Nagi makeover” cos I really wasn’t sure about batter consistency, nor whether the pork should be precooked or raw? I cooked the okonomiyaki on my bbq plate. They were yum, but since I’ve never had em before, I’m not really sure what they should taste like? Absolutely great for a hearty breaky the next morning tho! (I even bought sauce recommended by your lovely mama). Please redo for your RTE Nagi,?
Hi Nagi, Can you please post a recipe of Mussels in XO sauce? Many thanks
Something with ravioli or tortellini would be great.
