Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.

Hi Nagi, love your recipes. They are all I cook! Some ideas for future recipes:

Hi Briony, I’m so glad you’re loving the recipes! Love these ideas, Reuben’s can be found here: https://promotown.info/reuben-sandwich-recipe/%3C/a%3E 🙂 N x

Vietnamese cá kho
Vietnamese canh Chua cá
Vietnamese bún bò huê
YUM!!!! N x
Hi Nagi
Am looking for a mushroom soup recipe please!!! X
Yes! Will have to revisit this idea 🙂 N x
Nagi, Thank you! Your base formula recipes are really handy. I,e,, stir fry sauce formula, creamy white sauce. Can you develop more of this type of recipes? It’s challenging at the moment – you buy what’s available. I am able to give my family a variety that taste great and simple.
Just had a walk around. You’ve actually developed some base formula recipes. Thank you. I think you are wonderful. Love your recipes!
Hi Nagi! Could you please do a recipe for crumpets or sourdough crumpets! 🙂
YES! I’ll have to revisit my crumpet project that I tried some time ago – N x
Hi Nagi! Love your recipes! How about one for japchae? I love japchae but can’t find a recipe with simple instructions and easy to find ingredients. Thanks!
Please do a recipe for Pasta Alla Norma! Thank you
Can I please request for a recipe of thai papaya salad please?
YES!!! I did have this one in testing – will revisit Lynn 🙂 N x
Oh please do.
I’m having a few friends over for her 40th and she’s requested a Thai meal. You had everything on my planned menu except the papaya salad. 🙂
Hi Nagi,
Hope you’re keeping well.
I would love to see a recipe for Chicken and Dumpling Soup. Perfect for the cold Melbourne weather.
Possibly, something similar Laura Vitale’s recipe 🙂

Love your work!!
Stay safe 🙂
Just wanted to let you know that qeema indian curried beef is missing a few words in Step 4!
Thanks for picking that up Samantha, I’ll fix now! N x
Hi Nagi, before I came across your website, I NEVER stepped one foot into the kitchen. I was always the person who would spend $$$ eating out whenever I was craving for something. But you’ve inspired me to try and cook, save money and also try new things! It would be amazing if you could make Korean-inspired dishes like japchae, using Australian produce and products. Thank you once again! You are AMAZING.
Yes – Love this!! N x
Hi; A hot pork Vindaloo recipe would be good for the winter months ahead. Pork or lamb is ok , no beef. Indians eat very little beef-sacred. Slow cooker version would be great. Have given you site to at least 10 friends and all love it. Hi Dozer
Cheers from Cairns
Terry
YES Love this idea! N x
My family loved your Bolognese sauce. Best Ever!!!…they said. I’m a vegetarian, so I was quite jealous. Can this recipe be made with mushrooms instead of ground beef?
One to develop – thanks Tara for the idea! N x
Quick question about the “slider” to adjust # servings: I’m guessing it just mathematically adjusts the ingredients, but aren’t there certain ingredients that shouldn’t change proportionately? Love your work!
Hi Susan – yes all ingredients change as per the number of servings – nothing will stay the same if you adjust this up or down as it’s all based on the number of servings. N x
I’d heard that some seasonings would be too intense if actually doubled when doubling a recipe. Recent wikihow.com article on Doubling suggested increasing by only 1.5x.
Seconding others, I’ll say that you’re the only food blogger I still follow. Consistently tasty and successful results from your recipes. I especially love that you give options for different ingredients and preparation methods, explaining how they will affect the results.
That said, I’m craving a flavorful recipe for rice pudding, especially using a slow-cooker. Maybe with some coconut milk and/or dates? Maybe a kheer-type? (I despise raisins but like dried cranberries, especially orange-flavored ones, and most nuts except peanuts.)
I love all you recipes and would love to request:
– Okonomiyaki (GF variation too if possible)
– Eggplant Parma
– Spanakopita
– Doughtnuts of any kind!!
– savoury and sweet buckwheat crepes
– vegetarian adaptation for Massaman curry
– Chicken schnitzel or meatball wrap (like the ones from Alimentari in Melbourne!!)
– Easy work lunch and lunchbox ideas
– more soups!
Thank you for all of your recipes.
YES! This has been requested a fair bit Susan – looking into it!! N x
Would love a recipe for kimchi with vegetarian/vegan option (since I am a vegetarian).
Thank you so much for reading my request!
Prakriti
Hi Prakriti!! I must confess kimchi has been a work in progress for many years now…and it’s still ongoing!!! N xx
Would love a great foolproof recipe for a very citrusy, tangy no bake refrigerated lemon cheesecake please. Thank you!
Hi Caro! So – a very very lemon flavoured cheesecake DOES need to be baked because if you want to go all out, you’d want to add a layer of lemon curd on top. BUT for a simple no bake version, use the No Bake Blueberry Cheesecake Bars recipe but make it in a round springform pan (line it), obviously skip the blueberries if you want. And INCREASE the lemon flavour by adding 1/4 cup of lemon juice into the filling! -> https://promotown.info/blueberry-cheesecake-bars/#wprm-recipe-container-24986%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
Steamed Rice rolls filled with pork! The ones you can order at Dim Sum. Thank you
I LOVE these!!!! N x
Crispy pork with holy basil
It’s like you read my mind…. I was just looking at a stir fried Thai Crispy. Pork Belly with Thai Basil recipe on Wednesday!!! We are working on recipes using pieces of crispy pork belly….keep your eye out for it!
YUM! One of my faves! N x
Hi Nagi. I love every recipe of yours I’ve ever tried. Last week, my partner and I made the pizza dough from scratch and it was such a hit. All credit goes to you and your amazing recipes and videos!!! Thanks so much.
Making the pizza dough has given me the confidence to try more baking. I’d love a Lebanese pizza/pie recipe pretty please!!!
Thanks so much Flora, that’s great to hear! N x
