Request a recipe!

I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

Recent Reader Favourite Recipes - Tikka Masala, Pastrami, Pad Thai

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?

Drop your requests in the comments section below!

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

    Hi Nagi. I am a new recipetin eats fan ever since I saw you come onto Masterchef! I would really appreciate a Khao Poon recipe if you have time? It’s a lovely soup noodle dish from Laos. Thank you for your consideration.

    Sorry me again! I thought of another one, CHINESE EGG ROLLS, the kind you see in all the American movies that make your mouth water. Really not popular in Australia but I’d love to try making them cause they look delicious, and if anyone can curate an incredible recipe it’s you! Thanks Nagi 🙂

    Some more Indonesian recipes please Nagi! I’d love some sambal recipes (all kinds). I never know what each are called or where to begin with replicating them, but they are amazing whenever I eat them at an Indonesian restaurant.

    Hi Nagi,
    I was wondering if you are able to do a home version of the charcoal chicken you can get in takeaway shops in Aus. Wondering how to replicate the flavour best! Preferably keep it GF if possible.

    Thank you!

    We would love to have an old-fashioned recipe for chili relleno, with Anaheim peppers stuffed with poblano cheese, and a light sauce over. I have trouble making the sauce.

    Please please please, can you recreate Din Tai Fung’s Vegetarian Delight?
    Would also love a macaroni pie recipe. Like the Macaroni, Bacon & Shallots pie that was at Elaine’s Pies in Mona Vale.

    do you ever make dog treats? My sweet girl is a bit old, a bit fat, a bit spoiled and more than a bit greedy, she needs something softish and low salt and I just can’t find a good recipe to make for her love from Bec and Bones (she was a bag of bones when we got her hence the name) xxx

    Hello Nagi! Can you please do more recipes of Indonesian food? I have tried other cookbooks but only with yours the results always came out so well! A few suggestions : padang chicken pop, indonesian pancakes – sweet and savory version (martabak manis & martabak telur), chicken and mushroom noodle (bakmi ayam jamur) etc. Thank you so much for your recipes and meticulous details Nagi 🙏🏻 From someone who never thought I can cook!! 🤗

    I’m trying to make a spicy cilantro sauce like my local kebab shop and am having trouble replicating it. I’d love your take on sauces in general! I love my chicken and rice but it’s always better with something to drizzle on top! Any way you could include more sauce recipes?

    Came here to comment as the number 1 missing thing on this website would have to be banana bread and saw the comments below. 😄 I’ve also read about Nagis dislike for bananas but if Nagi you ever decide to challenge that or give it a chance… it would be appreciated. 🙏
    It’s been a hassle going through other ppls foodblogs and having dissappointing banana bread results. 😅🍌 Same with banoffe pie.

    ☀️Some other things that would also be welcome are;
    sourdough recipe, panna cotta recipe, beesting recipe, classic French vanilla slice recipe and the classic Russian honey cake with the many layers (looks quite different to the honey cake you have here).

    Another flavour for the birthday dog cake recipe would be lovely too. 😍 I’m sure Dozer would also appreciate that. 🦮 Also I don’t know if you ever bake interesting dog treats and have some ideas for that?

    Thank you for all your food magic so far!!! ✨️ 🙏✨️

    Hi Nagi, I am after a rice and beans recipe. Something fitting for the cost of living crisis we are all experiencing. The ingredients aren’t expensive, but it tastes great, full of flavour and is something the kids and hubby would ask for again. I’m asking for a lot, but if anyone can do it I’m sure it is you and your team.
