Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
Panang Curry using Maesri past, the only one you haven’t done I think.
You are correct! Added to the list 🙂 N x
Recipe request: ramen soup and Stuffed calamari
Hi Nagi,
I absolutely love your recipes and am working on trying every one. I was wondering if you might have a recipe for golden shrimp with the sauce they use at the hibachi grill. I’ve been wanting to make this myself for years!
Thanks!
Hi Nagi
Embarking on a Leto diet so would be interested in a sub section of those if not too hard
That should say keto diet…don’t you hate predictive text…PS love every one of your recipes 😊😊
Hi Nagi,
Thank you for your amazing recipes. I would love a good recipe for a marble cake and also for a chocolate chip cake.
Thank you x
Yum! Great ideas Anu!! N x
Hi Nagi
I would love to see what recipe you’d have for Croissants, Chocolate Croissants, Ham Cheese Croissants. I like baking and Croisants.
I just polished off a batch of your Hot Cross buns and have you to thank X
Hi Nagi,
I love your recipes, especially your Asian recipes. I love your Asian recipes because they aren’t overly complicated but still authentic tasting. I come back often to try different recipes you’ve posted. I would like to request Spicy Beef Satay Soup (with coconut milk) if you have some ideas on how to make it!
Harris Farm imperfect picks beetroot, horseradish and dill dip
Yum!! N x
Hi Nagi and Dozer, I just tried your carrot cake recipe and it was amazing. Best one ever thank you. My 88 year old Mum would love a sour cream cake. She had one ages ago and just loved it. I’ve been looking everywhere for a beautiful Sour Cream cake recipe to make for my Mum. I was hoping you could help me. I trust all your recipes and another one of my favourites is your bolognaise. Thank you so much Amanda xx
Hi Nagi!
Would love to have a banana bread recipe if you have one!
Absolutely love you’re recipes. Thank you for sharing!
Hi LF, sorry I don’t do bananas as I can’t stand them! 🤢 N x
Hi Nagi
Any chance of doing a Bouillabaisse recipe?
Cheers, massive fan
Hi!
I love your recipes! The only requests I have are smaller portions, slow cooking and, oddly, lots of protein and fats. Now that I’m too old (70) to care, I have an eating and weight problem I can’t eat enough! The doctors want me to gain weight. It’s actually very hard. I’m crazy about your recipes with
Butter, pasta and mushrooms. It’s delicious and it freezes well. So, finally, it would be great. Thanks for all the yummy food. And, Dozer is just a hoot and a half (an American Southern expression). I even ordered some vegeta. I hope your New Year is fantastic!
Nagi, there are two recipes I think ou readers would love. One would be for Danish frikadeller and the other would be for Colombian ajiaco de res, a pot roast cooked in dark beer with pureed cilantro and a yellow chili widely available as a pasta from Inka Foods and Goya Foods. Also, could you take the fear out of soufflés?
Hi Nagi. I love to cook Asian dishes, especially stir-fry. One of our favorite dishes is not on your site–Pad Woon Sen. It’s easy and I think your readers would love it.
I’d love a great recipe for Mexican-styled black beans. The internet is full of recipes, but I’ve yet to find one that tastes as good as what I’ve had in Central America or in good mexican restaurants in Australia. I’ve also had some great ‘beans and rice’ dishes at different central/south american restaurants and would love to know how to make them! They seem to be more than just ‘cooked beans and rice’ lol! But I don’t know how to replicate it at home.
More Dozer pics, Asian noodle dishes and low carb meals. I need to go lower carb but love noodles.
ps: Love Dozer pics
Would love you to replicate the wasabi beef that chinese restaurants often have on the menu. I haven’t been able to figure it out!
How about some ideas for a romantic Valentines dinner for two?
Oh yes, great idea! N x
Hi Nagy! I am an American who moved to the Blue Mountains from L.A. about 4 years ago. I love your recipes! Especially the Mexican ones! I am DYING to figure out how to make a good pork Chile verde with ingredients available Down Under. Like can I broil canned tomatillos 🤢? Are bullhorn peppers going to get me anywhere close to the flavor of a roasted Hatch? Should I just give up?!? Hoping you in your infinite wisdom can help a mexi-missing lady out!
I would like to see ‘complete meal’ slowcooker recipes 😊
