Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
Hi Nagi
I emailed you yesterday about a Chinese garlic chilli chicken recipe. Here is a website with a photo of what I am thinking of.
https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/AskCulinary/comments/5pacq7/replicating_a_uk_chinese_takeaway_dish_garlic/
Trying to cut back on meat, so lentil options??
-lentil bolognese
I’ve make your Lentil Soup and lentil curry both were amazing.
Roast cabbage
Or anything other then a salad or stir fry to use up cabbage
Hi Nagi! Am such a fan of your recipes and use them every week especially your Asian inspired ones. S
Eating of which, yknow that insanely expensive dish at the Chinese of fried seaweed? Can you show us how to make it as its my fave vegi side dish to chicken curry? Am crossing all my fingers here… love M xx
I love the recipes on your site and am wondering if you have a recipe for a dense, not light and fluffy, wedding cake (white). My mom used to bake them but her recipe has disappeared. I am sure egg
whites were used, no yolks. All recipes I have attempted still produce a normal cake texture. Your basic white cake is delicious, but not dense. Many thanks.
Hi Sharon, sounds more like a mud cake rather than a typical cake? N x
The baked white cake is a bit more dense and not as light and fluffy as white cakes. It consists of all regular cake ingredients, made with egg whites, and has vanilla and almond flavoring. It is a heavier cake. .
Can I just say that everything I have made from your website has turned out perfectly and tastes amazing! We have two Goldens, so I totally love the Dozer photos. My husband found out he is diabetic and now eats exclusively Keto. I’ve adapted lots of your recipes to fit in with him, but if you get a chance, I would love to see some Keto adaptations or even notes on recipes. I’m a pretty seasoned cook, so I can usually adapt recipes for him, but if the kids and I really want pasta, he gets a steak instead! Ha! Thank you again for creating all of these wonderful recipes! You rock!
Orange Chicken recipe, please!
Hi Nagi!! It will be great if you could share more sandwich recipes! Thanks
It would be good if you can please show us how to make pure matcha mousse (without the white chocolate). Most matcha mousse recipes tend to skip the egg white and use cream only, or use white chocolate.
Hi Nagi, I’d like to request Greek Easter Bread please. The proper Greek name is Tsoureki. It is one of various breads baked during Easter. The three dough ropes plaited together symbolise the Holy Trinity and the red eggs symbolise the blood shed by Christ. I’m not that religious but it is a great tasting sweet bread. Happy to send my fairly long recipe to you but I doubt you’ll need it, you are far more accomplished than me! Once again just love your site
Lynn
Hi Nagi, I would love you to recreate the Granny Smith Apple Bircher Muesli from Quay & Co at Circular Quay. It is the best I’ve ever had but no idea how to make!!
Sounds delicious! N x
Hi Nagi!
It would be amazing if you could create a new category for picnic food… always on the look out for new ideas on what to pack for picnics in the park or on a boat or beach… thanks a million !!
Hi Nagi,
Wondering if you have created a recipe for lemon chicken that you get in nice Chinese restaurants? The one that has a light batter and the sweet/ tart lemon sauce on the side.
This was always a fav in my house and it would be great to recreate as I love your other Chinese recipes 🙂
Thank you!
Nagi, love your recipes. Recently went to an Asian Restaurant and ordered Prawns with Peking Sauce, it was so good. Any chance of getting your recipe for this dish.
Hi.
You have so many lovely recipes, and I cant really think of anything in particular that I’d like to know more about. But, sorry, there’s allways a but 🙂 would it be possible for you to make a vegetarian category as one of your chapters? I’d really like that. Other then that, just keep doing what you’re doing its is all great
Sounds delicious Doug – one to add to the list!! N x
