Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
Hi Nagi, how about gluten free bread- not made with almond meal! Tastes like cake
Also, please please write a proper book that I can purchase and keep on the coffee table and send to my relatives oseas! Love your recipes 😊😊
Ok, very vague request but last week I made your Pork Belly with all the trimmings (cauliflower mash, apple puree, edible flowers, the works!!) and it was the greatest success of any dinner party I have done to date! It really looked like a fine dining dish you would get in a fancy restaurant,
Sooo, I was wondering – can you do more Fine Dining recipes like this 🙂 ones for special occasions and dinner parties and which look so beautiful on the plate you hardly want to eat them.
Small request, I know 😉
Thanks for all your wonderful recipes and inspiration, my favourite recipe site by far!!
Great idea Alex!! N x
My mother craves a Chiko roll. It’s been years since she has been back to Australia but that is the one thing she would love for me to make.
I was wondering if you could do a video of Thai style chicken wings. There is this restaurant in South bend Indiana where I live called Cambodian Thai that uses to sell it but they don’t have them anymore and so I never got to try it and was wondering if you could make a easy recipe video. Love your videos by the way. Thanks
YUM! Sounds great Leonard!! N x
I’m on the spectrum and starting to go out in the community soon and one goal me and my mom had is to make a dish once a week and also find the ingredients so I’m hoping you would make it as this will be a dish I attempt to make

I love your website! My teenage son’s favourite meal is your marinated roast beef which we had tonight.
Recipe request – one of the best meals of my life was quite a few years ago at an Asian fusion restaurant in Berry NSW which no longer exists.
I had a Vietnamese pancake and my quest to find another one just as good (in Sydney where I live) has been disappointing. I’ve eaten others but they weren’t as good.
It was a beautiful light crispy pancake, folded over the generous filling which was bursting out – tangy, herby, zesty, fresh, crunchy and saucy all at the same time.
I’d love to try to make one myself but have no clue.
If you ever want to create a recipe for a Vietnamese pancake I’d love to try it.
Hi Katrina, it’s called Bánh xèo!! I love this idea!! N x
Hi Nagi, I would love a white chocolate mousse recipe, or even some tips added to the notes in the exisiting chocolate mousse recipe on how to use white chocolate in place of dark. Thank you x
Hi Nagi!
I am a huge fan of your wonderful recipes, but I feel a lacking in attention towards offal recipes. Can you do a Lamb Heart Recipe and anything Tripe? Stephanie Alexander does a wonderful Tripe recipe with balsamic vinegar, a tomato sauce and strewn with parsley, just as an idea of how it can be different from the usual creamy based sauces.
Anyway I hope you read this, take care and I hope to see some offal recipes soon.
Mark.
Hello Nagi & Dozer!👋
I purchased a fryer so I could make your fried fish! So delicious and fun to make. However, have been waiting for your recipe where you fry both the fish and the chips! Is that a possibility? We are in Canada so that would be a BIG hit here! Thank you!
Dear Nagi,
Thanks for all your lovely recipes. Do you have an easy recipe for Egg drop soup?
Thanks
I want a recipe for banana cake
Hi Divya, I can’t do bananas sorry! 🤢 N x
Hi Nagi, love your recipes and they are the only ones I follow! Can I be greedy and leave a list of recipe requests:
French macaron
French fruit tart
Apple pies
Swiss rolls
xx
YUM! I love all of these!! N x
Hi Nagi, it’s not a recipe request bit a collection request. I would love a “make ahead” collection. We have family dinner night every week. But sometimes I’ve got 20 minutes to make a delicious meal for 6! So making ahead is perfect – like your cottage pie which bloody delicious.
Great idea Alana!! N x
Love your recipes. Great directions. Would appreciate a salmon choo chee recipe. Also, air fryer directions where possible. Thanks so much.
I LOVE Choo Chee!!! N x
Hi Nagi, thank you I love your recipes. I was wondering if you might consider giving a recipe for Yorkshire Pudding. They so complement a weekend roast lunch. Kind regards KP
Hi Nagi, I have a South African family and would love to make bobotie for them. Every single recipe I’ve tried from you have turned out amazing. May I suggest you make a bobotie recipe? x
A great one to add to the list Hannah!! N x
Hi Nagi – during lockdown I saw a polish cheesecake, I haven’t tried it but it looks very light & fluffy. Would love to know if you have a recipe? https://www.instagram.com/p/CNhIwKSjQjX/

Hi Nagi, love your website! I just cooked your chocolate self saucing pudding- amazing! How about a recipe for my other favourite pudding- lemon delicious pudding? Would be wonderful in this winter lockdown when lemons are bountiful.

Hi Nagi (and Dozer), a bit of an unusual request.
Do you have a recipe for chewy dog biscuits that don’t crumble?
I do make a carrot, peanut butter and honey biscuits for my dogs but they are a bit crumbly. I would love to try to make a more schmackos type of treat – something that lasts a bit longer for them to enjoy!
I don’t sorry Trish – something to add to my list though! N x
Hi Nagi, I’d like to have a Japanese cheesecake recipe like Uncle Tetsu Japanese cheesecake, please. Thank you.
Have you tried my Mother’s recipe here: https://japan.recipetineats.com/japanese-cheesecake-cotton-cheesecake/ – N x
