Request a recipe!

I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

Recent Reader Favourite Recipes - Tikka Masala, Pastrami, Pad Thai

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?

Drop your requests in the comments section below!

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

Thank you for your hardwork on these recipes. My husband and I definitely love them! However, today I have a big crave for Japchae (Korean glass noodles with vegetable stir-fry) but you don’t have one for it. So we are looking forward to seeing it here someday too.

Hi again. When I was little I always made my dads favourite dessert called puftaloons. It’s been 40 yrs now since I last made it. I remember making a batter like recipe and cooking it in hot oil until they puffed up. Dad always had his with golden syrup. I’ve seen some Google recipes of it but none look the same as mine I made. Mine were golf ball size with little tails hahaha
    Thanks Kerry

Love your work – it’s my go to place to find a go to recipe or try something new. I adore how much heart and fun goes into each one!

Only because I’m no chef and I can’t find anything close to what I’m thinking online – but I’d love to see a indulgent thick gooey porridge recipe – something with chunky stewed apples, cinnamon, maple drizzled. But how is the part I’m stuck on? ha ha

    Hi Nagi

I am addicted to these seafood, champagne pots from Aldi and would dearly love a recipe so I can replicate them at home. 🙏

They are super decadent, cheesy and “seafoody “and come with a gorgeous clay pot to heat them in the oven. I have collected so many of the pots now over time I have enough to host a dinner party or a ladies lunch!🍾🦞

They are called champagne prawn and scallops with champagne sauce pots and you get them in the fridge section at Aldi for $9.99.

They are sooo yummy with all that oozy cheese & champagne sauce. I usually serve with a bit of sourdough toast to scoop out any bits from the pot.

    Please consider this request.
Something different for when the girls pop over for brunch or lunch!

I reckon it would be a hit with your people from the page too.
    Thanks

    Hi Nagi,

Do you have a proper Korean KimChi Pancake recipe?

I’ve tried loads I’ve found on the internet and they are not that good tbh!

Hi Nagi, I love your recipes and always drop into your website to look for inspiration. Given the cost of living crisis and energy price hikes, I wondered if you could include more stovetop family recipes. According to some sources, the oven is the most energy hungry appliance, followed by the stovetop and the microwave coming out on top. I do have a slow cooker, but everything always tastes dull and has a specific tang 🙁 So, more energy efficient but still delicious and warming dishes please.
