More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x
Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
Hi
Love every thing I try.
Can you do chips from the shop spud.
Spaghetti squash.
Can you please do some air fryer recipes
Chicken Pide
Hi Nagi! I would love to see some more canapés which aren’t crostini focused.
What about
Srilankan roast bread ( Nagi have ever tried anything srilankan ?)
Thank you
Urid dhal Wade
Bubble tea
Baked crispy calamari or squid. Either crumbed or salt and pepper. Kind of like fried calamari, only baked.
Love you Navi. My family now roll their eyes every time I brag about how amazing you are!
Oh my god Nagi. Got so excited, I misspelt your name!
Banana Bread !! Face your fears !
When we were kids, my Mum used to make a cheese ball for dinner parties. It was delicious! A bit 0s retro of course. Now she can’t remember what was in it. I know it had grated tasty cheese, mustard and possibly french onion soup and cream cheese. It definitely had toasted sesame seeds on the outside because that was my job. Bring back the yummy cheeseball please Nagi!
Hi Nagi
Can I please request a recipe for Florentines? (Preferably without cornflakes and condense milk).
Peanut brittle, please! 🥜🤤
Thanks Nagi
I would love scone recipes that incorporate fruit. Blueberry especially.
Loukamathes! Such fun and super easy to make
Would love a devilled sausages recipe
Can you please give me a good recipe for butterscotch pudding? My Mom used to make it for me as a kid and by the time I was old enough (and smart enough) to ask for her recipe she had dementia and couldn’t remember how she made it. It was so butterscotch-y and smooth and luxurious. I can’t seem to duplicate it!
Hi Naji
I would love a recipe for Malaysian style roast chicken with chicken rice. I think the chicken has kecap manis and dark soy sauce on it and the rice tastes like it has some ginger in it. The chicken skin is brown, not pale like in Hainanese chicken rice. I just got back from Penang, Malaysia and would love to be able to recreate this dish!
Thank you 🙂
Vanilla bean panna cotta!
I would absolutely love it if you would share a cherry ripe slice recipe. I’ve been making the caramel slice for work and now people are putting in requests like I actually know what I’m doing 😂😂
I would love you to make Snapoer Pie.
Originally served at The Boathouse at Blackwattke Bay restaurant (now closed)
It had a sauce soubise.
Those chefs went on to open Brasserie Bread.
It’s also served at Garfish restaurants.
I usually have it every Christmas Eve. We all order it ahead now, because sometimes they run out.
The BBWB restaurant is online, but could do with the Nagi touch, to decomplicate it.
It looks like your type of dish. Mostly do ahead.
love some recipes to take to Christmas Carols or summer picnics please
Hi Nagi
I would love a recipe for using up old bits of crackers (jatz, rice crackers, cream crackers) and other stuff (eg weetbix and bit of leftover cereal), in some kind of a choc chip cookie.
I tried one the other day (just a basic choc chip cookie dough, which I loaded with potato chips, pretzels, praline), they were pretty good…. but bet you could come up with an amazing one!
Thanks!
Hi Nagi and Dozer,
I would love a recipe for Crying Tiger – a Thai beef dish that I miss so much since we don’t have any Thai restaurants here in Tin Can Bay QLD.
