Request a recipe!

I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?

Drop your requests in the comments section below!

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

This is so weird to ask but my daughter and I love bubble teas and its just not in our budget to try all the flavours. Would love to know how to make a milk tea with bubbles and also a fruity tea with bubbles!

My husband is allergic to shellfish. Quite a few recipes call for oyster sauce. What can I substitute for this ingredient? Thanks.

It would be great to get a recipe for American style cookies: crunchy outside and soft centre. Apparently better than any cookies elsewhere as agreed on by everyone who’s travelled to NY. Thank you!

Hi Nagi, I would love to see a recipe for Malaysian chicken curry just like the one served at a place called Roti & Buns on the Gold Coast. If you’re ever up this way you must try! It’s served with a side of delicious roti canai and it is absolutely amazing. Thanks for all your incredible recipes!

Hi Nagi I had the joy of living in Paris for some time and one of the best things was the French/Moroccan cuisine. Do you have a recipe for lamb mechoui please? I would eat it at my favourite little place with heaps of veges and couscous washed down with fabulous cheap rose

Many years ago someone I know used to make an amazing pie. It had tuna, corn, cheese, spinach and a creamy sauce with puff pastry. So delicious, I would love a recipe for such a pie 🙂

    Hi Nagi,
Would love a recipe for Peking duck with pancakes. I have never cooked duck before and would love to learn. I see the luv a duck (pre packaged duck breasts) often at the grocery store but just don’t feel confident enough to try and cook them. Can you and JB please create a yummy recipe please 🙏🏻🦆😋

I have used the Luv a Duck wraps. They are so expensive for the small quantity you ger and also think learning to make peking duck would be awesome

HaHaHa….I came here to ask for a recipe for banana muffins or bread, a recipe that REALLY tastes like bananas and you’re my “go to”. THEN, I saw your “no bananas” rant and had to laugh. I do, actually, know what a banana infused ham sandwich tastes like LOL!! Oh well, I’ll search the web and see what I can find. Happy Healing 😉
