More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x
Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
Hey thanks Nagi for putting this call out. Always love your recipes.
Would love your take/recipe for Vietnamese Pho. I love eating it at a local restaurant so would enjoy to be able to make it at home.
Also your take on a good old fashioned comfort pudding – rice pudding. My mother often had one baking in the oven, but I think she used to cook it for hours. And I don’t have that time with running my own business.
Lamb Shanks please. Thanks
Hi Nagi,
I love trying out your recipes and my family always appreciates it when I do.
Could you include a seafood chowder please? With cold weather here in Melbourne, we would really appreciate it.
Thanks.
Hi Nagi! Stuffed Capsicum would be amazing 🙂
Hi, Nagi! Your recipes are great, and you give us a wide selection! I was wondering if you could find a great recipe for bobotie? I had tried it at a South African restaurant and just fell in love with it! I’m sure you’ll have THE BEST recipe for it! Thank you so much!!!
Eggplant Parmigiana pleease…🍆🍆🍆
Hi Nagi, a way to make creamed corn would be amazing! I live on a Scottish island with only one shop and they don’t sell creamed corn! Then I could make crustless quiche and egg drop soup all the time without it being a “special” meal if I shop on the mainland!
Also a cronut!
Your recipes are amazing, I did the pulled pork again the other day, it was soooo good!
Hi Nagi, I love your recipes. I would love Lemon Tart and Vietnamese Pho Soup. Thank you
Hello Nagi,
I can hardly find an applesauce bread recipe, no less an amazing one. I would really appreciate your help with this. You will like it. 😋
Enjoying the way you send recipes now, i like the surprise. Not too bothered about dessert recipes as we tend not to have desserts or only very occasionally. So please keep sending your wonderful savoury recipes.
biscotti please please.
and stuffed cornish hen ( old country style- boiled eggs, peas potatoes etc in the stuffing)
plain basic vanilla ice cream without an ice cream maker.
How about some recipes for the slow cooker
Hi Nagi, we are enjoying trying your recipes. Every one we have tried has been great.
One thing you have in Australia that we do not have in Canada (at least they are hard to get) is Beef Cheeks. We have found a small butcher shop finally where we can get them. Do you have a favourite way to cook them? We always see the chefs on Masterchef Australia cook them in pressure cookers. Any way is fine, we just want to try them
Thanks so much
Love to see a recipe for dim sims
We are enjoying our first summer living in the South where it’s quite warm but we are missing our old favorites like Stuffed Cabbage. Love to see it done in the pressure cooker to cut time and no oven. Would love it with sauerkraut!!. I know you are up to the task Nagi.
Okonomiyaki, I’ve been drooling over the memory of the one I ate in a crowded spot in theHiroshima subway …one of the best dishes I have ever had!
Ohhhhh what about Portuguese Custard Tarts! They are so yummy when done right!
I second this request. Portuguese Custard Tarts please!!
Hi. This is Yumiko, Nagi’s mother here. I posted Oknomiyaki recipe on my blog RecipeTin Japan. It is not the same as Hiroshima style okonomiyaki as you need to add noodles to it. I hope I can post Hiroshima style okonomiyaki one day.
My only request is that you keep doing what you’re doing. I’m never disappointed. I can’t wait to try the next recipe and the next one after. I just wish I had a but more time to cook your great recipes more often. And after looking at this thread/email I can see there will be time more to try in the future. Thanks Nagi
Aussie chinese ham and chicken rolls please.
Hi Nagi! Oh wow, one thing I really love about your blog is how much you interact with your audience. I don’t think I’ve commented before, but I’ve been reading your posts for years, and I think this is so exciting! I can’t wait!
My two suggestions are actually some of my favorite dishes: crawfish/shrimp étouffée and ahi poke “nachos” with fried wontons as the chips. If you find them interesting at all, I would really love to see your take on them. I also request you give Dozer a kiss on his pretty little head. Thank you.
Hi Nagi,
An easy pork bun please and a Japanese cotton cheesecake too if that’s ok. Thanks.
Hi. This is Yumiko, Nagi’s mother here. I am currently working on Japanese baked cheesecake so hopefully, I can post a recipe on my blog site, RecipeTin Japan soon.
I totally second these two requests!!!
