SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I LOVE every recipe of yours that I’ve tried! I can’t wait for the book to come out!! Hooray!! Debbie
Nagi, hold up, have you lost a ton of weight? If so, HOW did you do the reverse of the rest of us who were gaining our covid-19 pounds :p
I am so excited for your cookbook and wish you much success. I love so many of your recipes and one of the things I love best is all your notes re making ahead, storage, substitutions etc. so please include those !
Hi Nagi dont know what to suggest as all of your recipes are great. How about Tikka Marsala one of my favourites or even if it is possible Keema Charna Dahl
I love all your recipes! I would love to see a recipe for the Japanese golden mayo that is usually used on seafood in hibachi grills. I’ve been looking for once for 15 years.
I would also like some keto inspired recipes 😊 or maybe give helpful tips how to edit recipes to make them less carb and less sugar.
French onion smothered pork chops is a fabulous recipe. I have shared it with lots of friends. It definitely should be in your new book.
savoury cheese muffins! The best breakfast muffin ever!
Congratulations! This is so exciting. Reading some of the other comments already made, I do have to say I also love all of your notes, suggestions for substitutions, alternative cooking methods, etc. They are all incredibly helpful.
I would also love to see more gluten and dairy free recipes or how to sub out ingredients to adapt the recipes to be GF/dairy free. (Doc just told me to avoid these. Sad day.) 🙂
Thanks for all you do and stay safe Nagi!
I have loved everything of yours I’ve ever made, so I’m sure I’ll love everything that goes in your book! The one recipe my family goes especially giddy for is the Indonesian Fried Rice. I like to surprise my husband with it and he acts like a kid on Christmas morning!
Enchiladas! Chili con carne!
Hi Nagi, just love, love your recipes and your notes are extreme helpful. Just a quick thought, if you could add how many people the recipe serves. I cannot wait for your recipe book, will buy it for sure.
Best of luck, you will be awesome.
Your easy Asian recipes truly set you apart from the competition in my opinion. I’m a sauce LOVER – so if you could have recipes for classic Asian sauces like teriyaki, plum sauce, general Tao, etc. I think that would make your cookbook even more interesting. On that note, your chow mein sauce recipe is my absolute fav – I always double it and my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
I have a separate file for your recipes, just love them!
Authentic Chinese and Korean recipes and of course, anything chocolate!
Thank you and keep on doing the great work (of testing, trial & error, and all the
your dedication).
Congratulations!!! I am SO happy and excited for you! And for me hehe can’t wait to purchase it!
I’d love to see: desserts maybe like how to decorate with fancy icing?! Like fondant? Idk if that feels true to you though but could be fun! I’d also love to see a chicken tortilla soup! White chicken chili.
A section for quick and healthy ish would be amazing!!
So exciting!!
I would love you to do a Seafood Pan Roast but with Aussie ingredients (we can’t get clam juice etc here in Aus). I had the most amazing one in Las Vegas 9 years ago and would love to recreate it! Can’t wait for this cookbook! I’m a huge fan of your recipes.
I would like all your Asian stir fry recipes that you have. I am Asian American and not a very good cook. Your recipes have helped me prepared some easy and delicious meals. I also like how you have a picture of the ingredients in your posts, they are helpful.
Good luck in your new venture.
THE cookbook I know I would use a huge amount. No risk of it gather dust!
The notes section is really useful expescially the substitutions. My husband doesn’t eat fish for instance so substitutes for fish sauce are always very useful.
I ALWAYS read the notes on ur recipes.
Love the idea of having a low calorie section. Everything under 400 calories for instance.
A feast section would be great: a collection of certain recipes to cook together for a dinner party/friends gather/ FEAST moment.
What about a section of recipes which work for meal prep. I like to cook various things on the weekend for lunches at work. Things what hold well and still taste great after a quick microwave a few days later.
I know whatever you end up producing for us it will BE EPIC!! ❤️
Hi Nagi, love love love all your recipes, how about a simple beef stroganoff type meal using ground beef, please.
I will be 1 of the first to order your cookbook, can’t wait for it.
Congratulations!! Copies in Canada please!! So many great recipes hard to pick, but will go with your wings, best ever!! Husband hasn’t wanted store box wings since having yours. Love just how easy it is to follow your recipes!
Something I find IMMENSELY useful with your recipes are all your Notes:, Tips, Substitutions, Methods (I.e., stovetop, oven, instant pot), and all those helpful things! They are the icing on the cake!
The first thing I ever made of yours was Chicken Shawarma and I was hooked. My husband has traveled the world (30 years US military) and he said the shawarma was like he’d had in Turkey.
And the other day I made your Chicken and mushroom Risotto, and he said it was the best he’d ever tasted. And then repeated “yum!” both times I reheated it in the microwave.😁
No matter what I make, it’s a hit!
Congratulations! I cannot wait to have your cookbook! I love the gyoza recipe, crispy noodles, butter chicken, Mac n cheese (both versions), sweet and sour chicken, vegetarian lasagne, enchiladas…. I could keep going!
