SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I love your recipes and how detailed they are with all your tips and notes! Every recipe I tried are great 👍 The moist vanilla cake I used for my daughter’s birthday was the best cake ever and it did really stay soft and moist for much longer! I would love simple, basics and easy, quick dinners/ snacks/ dessert in your cookbook rather than elaborate and complicated things but that’s just because I’m not really a great cook😅

I am so excited for YOU!

Your invitation to reach out to your readers for our input only illustrates one more reason why we love coming to your site time and time again Nagi. Alright . . . “Yes”, Dozer is also a big draw with full transparency! ;0)

Personally, if your book contains anything like the quality of recipes and clear, concise instruction like your site, I know it will be a great success.

From a personal perspective, I love international cuisine, and recipes that can be made in stages or ahead of time. And as always, your very helpful and thoughtful inclusion of substitutions would be a welcome inclusion for the recipes.

Between your beneficent endeavours in founding Recipe Tin Meals; preparing meals for friends and strangers “just because” you can; and providing your readers with great content and engaging chat gives insight to the caring, loving person you must be.

Thank you, Nagi for bringing us into your and Dozer’s life . . . I will be in line to purchase your new cookbook , sight unseen! I KNOW it will be wonderful!

I also like the cover you have for the cookbook. It says it all is simple and draws your attention. I would spot yours quickly and that would be a big help when you are in a rush.

Exciting news! Definitely include a lot of photos with the recipes. I don’t like cookbooks that don’t have them. Also the nutritional information is great! I love all of your recipes and look forward to buying it!

I just found you a few weeks ago and I’m hooked! Love Dozer, too. I like Indian, Thai, stir-frys, casseroles and just about everything else. You have lovely recipes and they’re easy to follow. The fact that you give substitutes is extremely helpful. Whatever you decide to include will be wonderful! Congratulations and I hope the book will be for sale in Canada!

Please include your rice instructions, they are invaluable.

Some slow cooker and electric pressure cooker recipes would be appreciated or alternative cooking method details in a normal recipe – I tweaked your French Onion Soup recipe for my slow cooker and it’s amazing.

I would love also to see 1 or 2 serving recipes! My husband is VERY picky and I love to try everything and anything…but it’s harder to find smaller serving recipes of the new and unusual!

I recently purchased a Pamper Chef AirFryer oven.
I’d love to see some recipes for this gadget. And I am always looking for chicken and pork dishes with a creamy sauce and fresh fruit desserts. You have so many incredible recipes that this book could be massive! LOL

A Cookbook, about time! Tell me who, what, where, and when… and I will pre-order for the first printing. I knew you were destined for great things, especially when every one of your recipes taste awesome. I would love to see an Asian food section. Starting with your ” Baked Fried Rice.” That stuff is beyond terrific! You might think about a small section for your Mom. Her Bento’s are wonderful! Truthfully Nagi, why not use your favorite recipes that you have shared over the years. I have some, but I will bet I dont have all of your best recipes.
