SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Just a few of my recipe requests: Pulled Pork with BBQ Sauce ; Chili Mac and Cheese ; Cheeseburger Casserole ; All your Gravy recipes ; Chicken Parmigiana ; Carnitas ; Magic Broccoli ; Great Roasted Carrots ; Roasted Cauliflower ; Cole Slaw; Macaroni Salad ; Worlds Easiest Yeast Bread ; Brioche ; Very Best Vanilla Cake ; Add your Notes for substitutions ; Make ahead tips ; …ok, these are just A FEW of my favorites. I had lots more I could have listed.
congrads Nagi on the cookbook adventure!
where to begin I love all the recipes I have tried. the tinfoil shrimp asparagus is great (Creamy Garlic Prawns (Shrimp) & Cheesy Potato Foil Packet!) I have done this one a few times once used gnocchi and the other time potatoes.

Love your recipes, could you add more chicken ones please , including curries . Regards Gill
I became aware of your great style of cooking through my husband watching sessions on tv, he is a big fan too. I love the way in which you present your recipes with suggestions of alternative ingredients or little tweaks that can be made.
As far as your cookbook goes I would like to see a generous inclusion of recipes you have already presented plus more new ones in your styles. I would like to see a photo of each recipe so we can see what it is supposed to look like, plus maybe small illustrations when something different needs to be done. I would have to disagree with you about the book. Your name does need to be included in the title because you have certainly earned that.
In actual fact I think that the
cover displayed on this page is nigh on perfect.
I wish you patience and success for this mammoth task you are undertaking and look forward to seeing the
Project completed.
I love your recipe newsletter and I’m excited about your upcoming cookbook! Please consider including international recipes using common pantry ingredients that can be cooked in the slow cooker or stovetop. Thanks!
Home made curry pastes – Indian, Thai, Vietnamese doesn’t matter. The more SE Asian curry pastes the better !!!
Congratulations Nagi, I know your cookbook will be a best seller. Any recipes you choose to include will be winners. I, like so many others, love your notes, metric conversion and nutritional information. If the book could be spiral bound so it lays flat would be the icing on the cake. Thank you and your team for all you do.
I look forward to buying your book in Canada.
Stay safe !
Would love some more non-meat / vegan recipes please Nagi xx
Jumping ahead to your cookbook cover: Maybe something like…My cookbook for you, recipes tested and approved by Dozer. Or Dozer’s Favorites? Regarding the recipe selection–How about recipes organized by each continent?
I LOVE cooking when I have one of your delicious recipes in front of me. I would love some bread baking recipes and more ideas on chicken & pork. Keep up you’re good work and ignore the naysayers.
Hi Nagi. Been following you. How can I maybe get a Nagi cookbook for free 🙂 My kids love your dishes.
I love the idea of information about how to store the dish and also whether or not it can be made ahead. How long it takes to cook. Nutrition info. You already do all this on your blog and I appreciate it!
Love your daily emails, and keeping up with Dozer. Please include plenty of dinner in an hour and one pan meals. Lots of casseroles are good too.
Can’t wait to see the finished product!!
I think you should do something really different. An ethnic cookbook. Southeast Asian (love your laksa and would like to make the paste from scratch), Ethiopian, Indian, Hawaiian (different types of poke), Mexican, and so on.
Used a lot of your recipes they all have been great!! Recommend this site and Nagi for all recipe ideas!!! Thanks
Your recipe for Beef Burgundy was the best I have ever had….instructions made it easy for me to follow and make it…Had wanted to make it for years but felt it was too daunting to tackle…you made it easy….whole family loves it and I make it about every 6 weeks and there are never any left overs
Hi Nagi i would lov if i can get Baking recipe for Bakery Thanx a lot
I recently downsized from a house to an apartment. I pared down my cookbooks to just 2 (!): How to Cook Everything and The Best Recipe from Cook’s Illustrated. I actually get a lot of recipes from blogs (like yours) now, so the only point to a cookbook for me is solid recipes that I know will turn out when I don’t want to dredge the internet and sift through possibly untested crap.
I’m confident in your recipes because I know you test them and the notes always show how much thought you put into the restrictions your readers might be working under. I think whatever you produce will be awesome: flexitarian, multi-cultural, as simple as possible but no simpler. Some easy stuff, some more complicated, fancy stuff.
Good luck, I know it’s a ton of work!
I’dthing love to see some Indian food. Palak Paneer a la Nagi, or a great Naan bread recipe we can cook on the barbeque. I love everything you do and your recipes are my go to’s. Love watching Dozer’s antics xx
