SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

    Hi Nagi!
I have not been disappointed with any of your recipes that I have tried. I f I am looking for something new to cook or improve on something I already cook I go straight to you Nagi! Everything is easy and delicious and I love how I usually have all the ingredients in my pantry/fridge. My husband loves what I am serving him up and my father in law loved your Christmas Cake.
I recently had heart surgery so need to be sticking mostly to heart healthy foods so I’ll definitely be hoping for some more recipes that tick that box. Having said that, your recipes are awesome and I am recommending RecipeTineats to all my friends and family!
I cannot wait for your book! Merry Christmas to you and all the best to you and Dozer for 2022!

    Merry Christmas Nagi,

I feel my life truly begin when I found your website.
Just made the Christmas Cake for today and it is amazing.

What makes your recipes stand above the rest is your detailed note section from storage, to substitutes, to quick tips and so forth. Definately make sure that section is in your cook book.

Don’t have a particular recipe in mind but I like how you make the most daunting recipe in easy manageable steps.

    Thankyou,

    Sophie G

Hello Nagi ! I woke up in the middle of the night wondering if you wrote a cookbook I could buy, and googled it. 😊 I’m glad to know it is actually in progress. Since I discovered your website I have been cooking so much more. It has become really addictive to try your recipes because it’s always so good. I love reading all your explanations and your tips, I’m really learning a lot thanks to you.
I would love to have a cookbook that really goes into details in each recipe like you do in this website. Actually I would be glad to see all your iconic recipes from this website in this book.
And I really hope I will find a way to get your book in France 😊.
    Thank you 🥰

I’ve recently discovered you, and honestly, I am obsessed!! I love your simple no fuss approach to all cooking applications, and every single recipe has been a raving success in our home! I cannot wait for a cookbook that I can use as a reference, but can also point out to my son and husband as to what they can cook.. I love your style, and you make cooking a pleasure in our home!

Im probably way too late but have been thinking what Id like in a cook book… I would like to know how to make a custard tart(individual or large) this is my nemisis! My husband loves them but I just cant deliver! I would also like to have an asian dish – not my version …an Aussie Asian dish ..it never quite makes it tasty as it may be. And seafood or fish – something that I can do that is worthy of the seafood I’m cooking. I wish you and your team all the best for Christmas and look forward to your cook book when it arrives . Big pats to Dozer❤

Hi Nagi! Wanted to say your site is my go to for recipes. I no longer waste my time searching through other sItes. Your recipes are always no fail, easy to follow, and so tasty!
If not on this new cookbook of yours, perhaps at some point could you give us a recipe for moist rum balls? I am not a huge fan of the chocolate sprinkles, preferring to use something like Cadbury Flake bar or even grated Lindt.
Good luck on your new book. I am so looking forward to it.
