SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I would love to see gluten free (non-fish) recipes!
Congratulations Nagi!!!…you totally deserve a book (or two or or three or more!)…how exciting! Pan Macmillan are extremely lucky to get you. My favourites are your vietnamese lemongrass chicken noodle bowls, chocolate fudge cake, chocolate caramel brownies, peanut butter caramel pie, chicken tetrazzini, roast pumpkin with yoghurt garlic sauce, chocolate chip cookies, triple chocolate cookies, malaysian satay curry (the list just goes on and on as all your recipes are just so good!). I would love to see whole chapters for all of your lovely marinades, sauces and rubs and a chapter for slow cooker recipes. New recipes to include would be a chocolate sauce and a caramel sauce. I can’t wait for your book…HOORAY!!!
I would love to see an option for a binder format. Since I print out many of your recipes, having the option of adding new ones as they are developed would be wonderful!
As an AZ/Mexico border dweller, I’m impressed with authenticity of your Mexican recipes.
Please include your cake mirror frosting and the ganache finish!
I count on your Asian and Australian desert recipes – so heavy on those, please! Could you add some Filipino recipes – pansit maybe? I’m anxiously awaiting your new book!
Oh my favorite dish is *Shirred Eggs*, I just love that recipe and make it every week now.
Thank you for asking us for our favorite recipes!
I have been hoping for a saucier Vietnamese-style lemongrass dish for awhile. I love your lemongrass chicken with noodles, but I’m thinking something warmer and heartier, maybe a dish to eat with rice?
So excited for your cookbook. Please don’t forget to have a WHOLE ground beef (beef mince) section 😉
Congrats!!!! I’d love to see some slow cooker recipes. And any soups and stews are always welcome! Congrats again! 🙂
Please, please do not leave out your amazing NO KNEAD DINNER ROLLS.
Also please include your Chinese Stir fry Sauce which I also use for a marinate. It’s really special! !
Please add a recipe for stuffed pork chops mad with bread stuffing
An Asian section – love, love all your recipes but specially the Asian ones. I second the Canada comment 🙂
Also complete meal section – things that go together ie dinner party
Very excited for you and for us! ~ Lori
Hi Nagi, I hope We can buy your cook book in Canada when it comes out. Please include the Foccacia, all your Asian dishes like Vietnamese carmelized pork bowls and chicken fried rice. Would also like to have your dog cake recipes, so nice to include food for our pups. Blueberry cake with lemon frosting, chicken breast in creamy mushroom sauce. Geez, I’m getting hungry now. Thanks Nagi.

SOOOO excited for this!!! Recipes I come to again and again on your site, Nagi, are easy weeknight meals that pack a ton of flavor. Would love more of those! We are gluten-free so anytime a gluten-free sub can be made would be super helpful for us. Love you and your work!
I’ve always wanted to know … do you (or maybe your Mom?) have a real TIN recipe box? I’ve wondered where the name came from! So a beautiful photo of you (and that recipe box!) needs to grace your book!
(I’ll get back to you with specific recipe requests!)
Italian pizza bites.
Indian samosa bites
Please add your Peri Peri chicken, carnitas & all other Mexican dishes and side dishes, butter chicken (my chicken is marinating as I type!), and your Middle Eastern feast.
Good luck in your cookbook endeavour! Can’t wait!
Big congrats. Please include Asian inspired recipes and fish recipes. Your recipes are all great. It’s my first go to site when I’m looking at recipes.
So happy for you!
-One-pot recipes are ideal (one pot bolognese is a favorite and I hope you can put in the book)..
– Please put it substitution suggestions.
– I realize you won’t be able to put in videos in the book (step-by-step videos ate my favorite of your site). I do hope you can place step-by-step pics for visual learners like myself.
Good luck in putting this cookbook together!
-Lourdes
I second the request for one pot recipes !
Chicken cacciatore! Baked chimichangas! An instant pot section would be amazing! You rock Nagi! This announcement made my day. 😉
Veggie recipes , healthy bread, cinnamon rolls, DESSERTS etc if possible :)and how about healthy doggie treats! Healthy meaning, less sugar and white flour with nutritional information including saturated fats! Yup, if you guessed, I have to watch what I am eating these days!
Would love to see some vegetarian and perhaps some vegan recipes. Of course pictures of Dozer!!!
