SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

When I first began using your recipes, we had no dietary restrictions. Now, sadly, it’s low protein, low salt, low potassium. Your salads have been wonderful, so please include many more. Nutrition info also, please.

Congratulations on the book Nagi. I love your Greek dishes and find them very useful when having guests. They would be my choice. Thank you for asking!

I love your recipes and look for the every week. I would really like to see some more small batch recipes for 1 or 2 now that I am just cooking for one. Not having to down size recipes all the time would make cooking so much easier. But I will do it for your recipes because they are so good, I have a 4-inch notebook of just your recipes that I have printed out already…but I will still buy your cookbook when it comes out. Thank you your great website.

My goodness! Any time I have an idea for dinner, I’ll always check if you have a recipe for it.

I LOVE your recipes and love the versatility in your methods (short sharp, pictures, videos, lengthy with descriptions). It’s not only giving me a recipe but giving me the opportunity to learn more about cooking.

I’ve been sitting back for months thinking “I feel bad. I get all her recipes for free… how can I somehow repay her”. And today I have seen the recipe book you’re doing!! Can’t wait to participate.

Can’t wait to see more from you and Dozer.

    Stay safe xxx

I find your recipe website almost perfect as it is, both in terms of contents, structure, and presentation. For me, the best cookbook would be a book version of the top recipes from your website.

LOVE your new cookbook idea! I hope that you will include lists! I still look at your list from Christmas time last year which showed the kitchen tools you think are best. I LOVE THAT LIST and have purchased a number of the items and am very happy. It’s a shortcut to perfection!

Additionally your list of Asian ingredients is INVALUABLE!
(Although I still can’t figure out the difference between light and dark soy sauces . . . so I bought two bottles and use some of each!

    Dozer is PERFECT!

I know you want new ones but I’d just love the ones I use all the time – lasagne, chilli mac and cheese, etc! Maybe you could include new variations for the classics!

Would like a recipe for Pan con lechon, Cuban pull pork. We have a Cuban Bakery/sandwich restaurant called Portos. I love their pastry but love to have their recipe for Pan con lechon. Love the crispy burnt meat.
Another request for our book is Lomo Saltado, Peruvian stir fry. Have been trying several recipes and still searching for the flavor from Don Felix restaurant in Los Angeles.

I’m so excited for you and for all your followers. Your book will be absolutely wonderful. I love the way you put explanatory notes and suggestions for alternative ways of doing things in a recipe. Keep up the good work and all the best for this huge undertaking.

    Congratulations Nagi
Looking forward to the Book. Thank you so much for your amazing recipes – your explanation with the visual “how to” is fantastic. The process is simple yet very rewarding with delicious meals. My request is for vegetarian meals. Please include how to – photos. They are very helpful. And it goes without saying – Dozer has to be in it.

    Hi Nagi love your recipes and have passed on your site to many friends… There are too many recipes to pick from so guess go for the most popular ones on your site but Thai Chicken Satay is a must recipe to include in the cookbook and would really really love a good thai chilli jam recipe (-: Not a fan of the pink/coral colour proposed for the recipe book cover as from one who loves to display a cookbook in the kitchen something more clean is more likely to find its way to the recipe stand on display – ie white with a photo of food and/or place where the food is from on the front is more appealing and more likely to pick that one out from all the books on the cookbook aisle in the shop over a pink cover.. (& love to see dozer on the cover (-; ) just my little tip… (-;

Please include your French Onion Soup & World’s Easiest Yeast Bread recipe – Artisan, NO KNEAD crusty bread, Caramel Slice, Beef Rendang(the best), Emergency “Dump & Bake” Fried Rice & Naan recipe – chewy & fluffy. I have never bought “the yeast” before I discovered your website via abc’s 7:30 Interview. Obviously I am a super lazy cook as you can see via my choice above(except French Onion Soup by my partner) So please include “The easiest(or for a lazy cook)” section in “our” cookbook!

Congrats on your new cookbook! Thank you for including us on this.
I would love to see a variety of recipes using ground/minced beef & also chicken since they are economical choices when buying meat and we all get tired of making the same recipes every time with them.
