SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Maybe in chapters of where the recipe originated e.g French, Asian, English, Italian etc with mains, nibbles and deserts in each section?

Ever since I discovered your website, I have tried SO many of your recipes! I love the way you lay out your recipes and explain everything—makes your recipes fool proof! I eagerly await your cookbook! I would love some slow cooker recipes as I like to use my slow cooker a lot in the hot summer. Thank you again for your awesome website and recipes!

I would love a section called “side dishes” or something along that line. When I’m in a hurry it’s the easiest way to find exactly what I’m searching for. Your recipes ROCK!!!

Would love lots of Ottelwnghu style salads that don’t have one thousand ingredients. Love all your chicken fillet recipes. Please include your mum’s teriyaki meatballs 😊 and your gozleme recipe 🤤 anything Turkish, Thai or Indian. So delicious. My 12 year old recently told me it was time I let my recipe lady out of the tin 😂 I’m so happy you’ll be in a book 🥰

What a great idea to ask us to let you know what we would like in your new cookbook … so with that in mind I would love to see some raw food recipes… different and tasty dishes that are quick and easy to make but also tempting to try… Congratulations again and have fun compiling your new Cookbook

Please include your easy flourless choc cake – my son’s partner is dairy intolerant so I make this whoever she is coming for dinner!

Nagi, I want to use my pressure cooker more, so some recipes that you cook in the pressure cooker would be great. Mine is an electric one. Thanks I love using your site and recommend to so many people. Look forward to buying your book.

Hi Nagi, I’ve never commented on your blog before but have pretty much only used your recipes for the last 3-4 years. (In fact, I lost hundreds of old recipes when my computer died a year ago and only just realised last month!) Congratulations on the cookbook – it’s fantastic news. Might you consider a chapter with the recipes you make for Dozer? I would love to see hooman and dog recipes in the same book!

Yay! Exciting news congratulations! I love your fail safe recipes so will buy your book for sure!
I love that your recipes always have substitute ingredient notes, most recipe books don’t have that.
Maybe include Suggested menu plans for a dinner party (for when we can have them again). Like your Mexican fiesta post.
I’d love to see recipes for Chicken Korma and a Szechuan Beef.

I’ve got a vegetarian in the house, so when you do a vegie option within your regular delicious meals, it’s very helpful. eg – your burritos (beef, chicken or vegie). Can I order my 6 copies now!?! jk

    Incredible news, congratulations!!
It’s rare that I look for a recipe that you don’t have, but noticed you don’t have a cannoli recipe – would love one of those 🙂
