SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Yay!!! Long time coming and I’ll be the first in line to pre purchase your book. I lvoe the nutrition information and all the tops that you give e.g. alternatives. I think focusing on easier friendlier recipes to day to day life is better than more gourmet recipes e.g. that fancy french duck recipe. I have so many recipe books that are just ‘decoration’ because the recipes are too complicated! Step by step photots are also super amazing e.g. have you seen Weber’s Ultimate Barbecue book? Thanks for involving us Nagi!!! 🙂 Cannot wait.

Congratulations on the book deal , so exciting. I love the notes with alternative ingredients , also being able to change the amounts based on different numbers of servings , difficult in a book but possibly a small table with a common number of serves . A mix of simple easy to prepare meals as well as some for more special occasions would be great .

Congratulations and what a great idea. thanks for including us. The Whole Orange Cake and the Meatloaf are my favourites. It would be great it you can flag dietary options (like gluten free, dairy free) and if there are replacements ingredients so we don’t miss out on your great recipes. Good luck

Congratulations Nagi!!! This is the first time leaving a comment on a blog because I simply adore you! 😍 I can’t wait done your cookbook! Perhaps you can include substitutions for those hwo require ingredients swaps due to dietary requirements. Or have mini sections of X-free recipes. It’s so not you, but for the benefit of those who love your recipes but need to cut gluten, sugar, etc.

Wow! How fantastic! Definitely need to put in your eggplant curry. Actually, everything on your website needs to be in that book or book 2, 3, 4….
Your recipe methods, alternatives & options makes everything so much easier & adaptable which is the reason I keep coming back to your site.
Can’t wait to see the finished book!

I love that you give us options like alternative ingredients and I love the videos .(don’t know how you’re going to keep those in a book).
How about some recipes using the air fryer? Many of us have them and could use some new recipes.

Congratulations! Would love fat free or low fat recipes of any kind, also savoury biscuits (with and without cheese) in your new cookbook. There’s a loved one with dietary restrictions in my household and its so hard to find recipes I think are tasty that she doesn’t find too rich.

Delighted about the cook book much deserved. I have a huge file full of your recipes all of which have been selected based upon my taste and dietary issues. Love the fact that you provide explanations about alternative ingredients, and cooking tips based upon different varieties, etc. Your keep it simple approach is the key to why I and others are quick to try your recipes. I would like to see a simple chart of spices and herbs – where and how to use them – what goes with what. Would also like recipes for sauces and dressings. Good luck with this project.
