SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

    Hi Nagi
I regularly consult your website. Big fan.
But I’m vegetarian and I am only looking at the baking / sweets sections. Any chance of a separate baking cookbook in future?

Hi Nagi, I just wanted to say…..I found your website during lockdown and it has reignited my interest in cooking from scratch. I’m a pretty good cook of 40yrs but had slipped into cooking the same old things again and again, or worse still, being lazy and opting for ready made food. Your recipes are exactly the type of food we love and I’ve now cooked quite a few of them. They just work so well and taste amazing. Every one is so full of flavour and we’ve not had one that disappointed, unlike quite a few other recipes I’ve tried in the past. Thank you for the amazing tasty recipes, brilliant website that is easy to navigate and save recipes and I love the stories of dozer! Please include some tasty low calorie recipes in your new book. xxx

Thank you Sue! I have to say, I’m enjoying it immensely but wow, it’s a lot of work 🙂 Never worked so hard in my life – and that’s saying something coming from the corporate world I used to work in!!! I will be happy when I get to take a breather though (and then I will no doubt miss it! he he – always the way) – N x

Hi Nagi. Like others have said, I love your site and your recipes and it is so refreshing to find an online cook who actually knows what she is doing and doing it so well.

My suggestion/wish for your cookbook is that you supplement each recipe with suggestions or cross-references to appropriate side dishes. It makes me crazy to have a great recipe for an entree but then have no idea what to serve with it to make it a full meal. You would really be distinguishing yourself if you did this.

    Thank you for considering.

Happy New Year Nagi! I’m so excited for your cookbook since most of my go-to recipes are yours! Your recipes are well explained and have given me the confidence to cook things I had never tried to make before because the results are always AMAZING! I love your notes for making ahead and would love that in your cookbooks if possible. Sending you much appreciation for your hard work and good luck vibes from California!

Please include this recipe https://promotown.info/cheese-and-bacon-breakfast-strata-cake-bread-bake/%3C/a%3E%3Cbr /> It was the recipe that started me on your website and now I go to it for constant inspiration. I think I dropped the amount of bread by a third as it was a bit dry but aside from that the recipe is bang on and it gets served up time after time after time! I could ream off a pile of other recipes too but you probably have a lot of other suggestions already so I won’t inundate you!

I’m very pleased to hear about the cookbook. Please make sure its available on Amazon or somewhere so we can purchase it from all round the world.
Two other recipes (I can’t shut my mouth can I) I constantly use are:
    https://promotown.info/slow-cooker-pork-loin-roast/%3C/a%3E%3Cbr /> And
https://promotown.info/classic-italian-meatballs-extra-soft-and-juicy/%3C/a%3E This recipe is revolutionary for making the most amazingly moist meatballs and I have since taken your que for making pattys.
As I said, my list will go on but now I’ll sit tight and I’ll watch this space, Nagi!!

All the best for production, Nagi.

Ohhhhhh!!! How I wish I had room for those recipes…. the list is now final and regretfully they are not on it! On the positive side though, the reason they didn’t make the list is because I have to leave room for a whole bunch of NEW recipes! In particular there is one new meatball recipe that I am a little nuts about… if you love the Italian ones, I think you will go bonkers over this new one! N x

I am beyond excited at the prospect of a cookbook by you Nagi but I am concerned that it will only be published in Australia. I live in the UK will it also be available to buy here as well? I really hope so, finding your website has been a revelation I have yet to find a recipe me that we dont enjoy making and eating.

Hi Nagi, thankyou so much for your inspiration. I love your recipes – try to cook as often as I can, but a busy lifestyle often see’s me using my Airfryer (too much). so, any and all Airfryer recipes that are nutritious, would be greatly appreciated. 🙂
