SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

A weekly meal plan suggestion. A veggie section. A one pot meal section. This is wonderful news.
Something low fat and healthy!
How about ‘The Book the Dozer’ as a title??
Hopefully we can purchase a copy in the U.K.?
Excellent will be buying a copy at the first chance i get if i can get hold of one on the other side of the world. 😀
Can I purchase your cookbook in New Zealand?
Fantastic news. I would certainly purchase your book. Congratulations
I can’t go past your pea and ham soup!!
Congratulations, I love getting recipes from you, I definitely will buy a copy of your cookbook, could you sign it for me ? 😘
I love the slow cooking recipes also your satay chicken
I definitely will by a copy of your cookbook, could you sign it for me ? 😘
Happy for you, Nagi! Would definitely be buying a copy.
Congratulations Nagi! I’m so glad your brilliance is being recognised by the publishing world! You should have your own cooking show too! For the life of me, I don’t know why SBS haven’t already picked you up. Your recipes are so much more accurate and detailed than the average TV chef/celebrity that you put them to shame.
My favourite recipes? Oh, so many! I love the Stroganoff stew, all your one pot meals, particularly the chicken but the standout in recent months has been your simple chocolate cake. That link was sent out far and wide after a staff party!
I’ve followed you for a long time now and I’m so pleased for you!
This is very exciting!
I’d love to see nutritional information included. And my favourite recipe Chicken Satay Curry.
I have notifications set on for when you post on Instagram. Every time my phone beeps, my husband laughs and says “recipe tin eats just posted a video”. Seriously think I’ll gift your book to him 🤣.
Congratulations Nagi! Looking forward to its release! Your recipes keeps me and my family alive. Love your food and can’t wait for new ones every time. One thing I love with your recipes is that they are scaled just right for my family of four. Would love to see them 2x or 3x for more yummy servings.
Goodluck with the book. Cant wait to get one.
Congratulations 🎉
I can’t wait!!
Every recipe I’ve tried of yours (over 100 and that’s not including making some again and again!) have always been a winner. So can’t wait for your book. 🤗
That’s great Nagi,my 3 son’s will be receiving this book for there birthdays, they love you as much as I do.
Must have in the book
Asian glazed baked barramundi,so good after a busy day, only takes 30mins,tastes amazing!!
I agree! Great presents😍
Nagi, love love love your carrot cake cupcakes. They were so delicious and moist! Best ever and I don’t bake or typically prefer more savory dishes. Love all your curries
Congratulations Nagi, another lovely string to your bow. I have been really wanting to give you the key to your new recipe book and have been pondering why Recipe Tin Eats is so fab. It is so diverse, so many different recipes all of them easy to follow and create. My faves….Thai Chicken Curry, Beef Stroganoff……..in fact anything with your creamy mushroom sauce…….Charlie sauce and the secret of creating so many different flavours from one sauce base, One Pot Chicken, the list goes on. You have a great format, so well thought out and questions are answered before you need to ask. What new dishes ? Phew don’t know but presenting any dish in your format is a great help to any cook. Well done. Pats for Dozer
Congratulations Nagi, such exciting news! I’m a huge fan of your recipes, just like the rest of my household.
The one thing I’d love to see you in your book is metric weight measurements for ingredients included. I love being able to use my electronic scales to save on cleanup.
Can’t wait for your book!
Hey Nagi! I Looove your recipes and am very excited about the cookbook!
One thing I’d love to see is how long leftovers can be kept, and how best to keep them (i.e. can something be frozen or will it compromise the taste?). Also if I can prep in advance – is there anything I can do on the weekend to make weeknight cooking faster, but not compromise on quality?
Congratulations Nagi! Your oven baked chicken breast is a staple here, maybe you could pair it up with complementary sides that could be cooked while chicken breast is in oven?
Also lots of your recipes use similar ingredients, maybe a few weekly meal plans of those recipes using similar ingredients, accompanied by a shopping list?
I can’t wait for this book, it will be amazing whatever you decide to do!
So excited that you’re writing a cookbook!! I have recently become vegetarian (for health reasons…ohhh I love my meat) and I have trouble finding interesting vege recipes that aren’t all cream and cheese (as nice as they are!!) …..I would love a couple of healthy tasty vege meals….I will still cook all your dee-licious meat recipes when kids and grandkids are home….also,I always like to know the sugar content in any recipe…..cheers Nagi….
