SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I can’t wait -your recipes and instructions/notes are SO Important to all of my successes with your recipes. Will you please include some Chinese pastries made using the tangzhong technique? And your ‘dead easy’ recipes would make a great section, too!
I love all of your recipes! ALL of them! I am a meal planning Mum and love choosing your recipes for the week where I can get the most out of the ingredients, to reduce waste. It would be fantastic to have a bit of a meal planner. I also agree with others, would be great to see dozer in there 🙂 Thank you, can’t wait to see the book!
I really love your Middle Eastern recipes like Chicken & lamb Sharwarma, and the Arabian feast, I use these often.
I’d love a recipe for stovetop/cheat’s lasagna (not an American version with ricotta, but with bechamel sauce or something similar).
Also any quick and easy dinner recipes, especially ones with hidden veggies (toddler life!!).
I use your Spag Bog, Spag alla Puttenesca, ,Pumpkin Soup and Pea and Ham Soup recipes all the time. Hah..so many others too. And any of the easy peasy desserts. Slow cooker and quick mid week meals too.
Congratulations! Can’t wait! Asian & vege friendly recipes for me please. Love the mix and match recipes which work with different proteins, possible substitutions etc. Plus photos of Dozer please 🙂
I’ve wanted to make a Pavlova in a tin (like the Pavs you buy in the shop) that doesn’t collapse or crumble but remains cake shaped. Please!!!
I will def buy yr book Nagi. BUT would really appreciate Gas oven settings as I don’t have an electric oven, and always have to Google what to set the oven number.
Great! I’d love the sausage and potato tray bake with its own gravy. Best one pot dinner ever👍🏼. And any eggplant recipes. Enjoy writing your book.
This is so exciting!!! Congrats, Nagi – so well deserved. I’d love to see some new ethnic recipes like Kerala-style avial or Ethiopian doro wat. Thanks for reaching out to your humble fans for input. I can’t wait for this cookbook!
Congratulations Nagi….so many excellent recipes but your creamy mushroom sauce is a must, absolutely delicious. Look forward to buying the book. 😊
Congratulations! Your recipes for chicken are on repeat at our house. I would love to see a section of your pantry staples in your new cookbook. I refer to them often here.
Hi Nagi
Your Italian Meatloaf with Marinara Sauce
Thai Red Curry
Are my favs. Hope they make it into the book, which is definitely going to end up in my kitchen. Good Luck x
The one beef mince recipe that MUST be included is your meatloaf with glaze. Simple, humble, wholesome, so, so delicious and leftovers for next day. Made dozens of your recipes but this is a fav. Best wishes for your book.
Congratulations Nagi! Wonderful news for you, and all of us 🙂 Little do you know, but you’re part of our family. We love your clear and detailed instructions as well as the delicious results. Someone mentioned basics eg pastry, sauces & marinades, etc. Great idea. I’ll never cook a pork chop again without your marinade. So good. And a baking section please. And lots of Dozer moments 🙂
Enjoy the journey, we are all behind you.
After making your best ever pizza tonight I really think this would be a ‘keeper’ that should make the book. Such a great recipe that is great for any occasion. I imagine kids would really enjoy helping make their own!
Congratulations! This is great news; for you and for us! I am very excited. The recipes I like most are too many to write down. For a cookbook from you, I would love to read recipes for during the week with meals that will not take too much time. I would also love a link in the book with the videos somewhere on the internet and also the opportunity to change the amount of people and scale the servings, that’s always very helpful to me. I also like the pictures with all the steps to take and nutrition information. Good luck with this new adventure!

Please include a section for diabetic recipes. Thank you Nagi
So many great recipies and sauces.Sometimes the simplest things can be the best .ie. The 3 pizza sauces (New York Sauce, mmm) and then again something a little more complicated like the Chicken Parmigiana (doing today) and something inbetween and my kids favourite the sumptious Baked Mac&Cheese oh and not forgetting every single one of the S.E.Asian recipies decoded and made less mysterious and scary with options, notes and those little details that makes them accesssible and do-able to even the newsest of home cooks.Fantastic.
