SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Congratulations! I know it will be a big success. I would like to see more baked fish recipes, and maybe some slow cooker recipes!
I love you German Pork knuckle. Best crackling I’v e ever had. Followed by the black forest cake. Marvellous
OMG Nagi I am so excited for this cookbook and I can’t wait to support you when it comes out! I’ve always wondered where there was no RTE cookbook yet!!
I’d love to see:
– Weeknight/easy fish and vegetarian options (where ingredients aren’t too difficult to procure/unique to find)
– Ethnic foods (I am loving your Thai week, French week… no ground beef needed!!)
– More “dessert” and bread-type recipes (your brioche is a favourite of mine and I’m an amateur baker!)
– Meal planning, make-ahead, freezer-friendly recipes
– Restaurant copy-cat recipes without all the frills/calories (if that is possible ahaha!)
Thanks and good luck Nagi!
Sounds great Nagi! Congrats on new cooking venture…
As grew up on various ethnic consumptions, our family always have a different daily craving for International foods. Also quick meals, healthy, and salads/soups always nice. Classic dishes and desserts always unforgettable.
Love your recipes, and thank you!
So far all your recipes that I have tried (that’s most of them) have been fantastic and deserve a place in your/our cookbook. My suggestion would be “Deep fried milk flambaed in orange liqueur.” 😊. ❤️ ur food!
I am so excited Nagi. I would love really soft and tender muffins recipes, sweet and savoury. I even Pam’s you on insta about this I am that desperate. Hehe. Also, I would love traditional Asian dipping sauces, if you can source them. Restaurants do great ones for things like fresh spring rolls and dumplings, but I can never make them the same. I need guidance! Good luke with your new venture. Love to Dozer x
Just to note PM’d not Pam’s !!!
How exciting! Absolutely can’t wait!
Definitely gluten free options or substitutions where possible.
Easy weeknight meals,
Long slow cooked weekend meals.
Family meals.
I don’t mind really because I know I’m going to cook any recipe you write!
Oh forgot to write, more vegetarian and fish options as we have been trying to cut down on eating meat. Thanks
Woohoo! A big congratulations. Will be buying half a dozen (for myself and gifting it to friends and family). We cook from your recipe collection at least 3 times a week. And my 9 and 11 year old have turned into junior master chefs thanks to you. I can’t wait to see your fabulous cookbook.
Storage, make-ahead, freezer options! Gluten-free is also much appreciated. Crowd-pleasers and ethnic food. Slow-cooker and instant pot.
Recipe needed for chilli jam, please.
Definitely those meals that can be frozen! I always have waaaaaybti many leftovers. Also, a small section on doggo recipes (Dozer endorsed of course!)
Your recipe for wings baked in the oven is a favorite of mine. Friends ask for them frequently.
Congratulations! I’d love to see your take on Portuguese tarts, Chinese custard tarts, roast pork bao, lots of Asian recipes.
A tip from one author to another: join the Copyright Agency, which is essential for protecting your intellectual property. Cheers Shirley
Congratulations Nagi! This is a huge and wonderful project and I can’t wait to hold your book in my hands! My partner and I love your delicious, easy and diverse recipes. Not one week goes by when we don’t cook something from your blog! As for the wish list, I’d love it if there was a big vegetarian section. Not just sides, but full vegetarian meals. Thanks so much for all that you do xx
So excited for this cookbook! I’ve been looking to buy a new but haven’t found one that I’d love to have, rather always keep coming back to your recipes. I would like one bowl lunch/dinner. Baos with pork or chicken. Some base sauces/bone broth that you could use for several recipes. Recipes for pressure cooker. Easy but flavorful desserts. I agree with other comments techniques and substitutions are incredibly helpful.
So excited. You’re my go to recipe site. Just make sure there is a picture for every recipe. I hate it when books don’t have pics for every single thing.
