SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

That’s so exciting Nagi! I’ve been saying for years your recipes deserve a published cookbook. I’d love to see your fakeaway dinners. I love those!
I really like the good advice you give with making something. Tonight I made the oven baked chicken and rice. The advice to remove the skin was great. Less fat going into the rice. Excellent ideas I look forward to the book.
You said it – a cookbook that doesn’t gather dust sitting on the shelf!!
I’m soo excited, for you and for us!
How about introducing some easy Persian recipes? Like baked fish or meat, pilafs, and dips.
I’m really looking forward to this cookbook!!
Keep going…..
♥️
Dearest Nagi,
You (and Dozer) so Deserve this with a Capital D! (and we all deserve cake) Haha

Wonderful news congratulations!
You must include (IMHO)
White Chicken Lasagne
Lamb Shanks Massaman Curry
Oven Baked Chicken and Rice
Slow Cooker Roast Chicken
Sausage Rolls
I could go on but these are repeat cooks in my household
There is no need to look anywhere else for recipes and inspiration.
I really enjoy all your recipes and religiously cook them!! All the side notes and explanations with tips before and after the actual instructions are so insightful and help tremendously for newbie cooks like me. I love how easy to follow your recipes are and there are so many to choose from. The diversity from Asian to Western food is a great way to capture as many readers as possible, you never get bored browsing in your page! I would like to see a little more options for vegetable side dishes. Not really like salads but something that can go well with the lamb or chicken or whatever the main. Thank you for your continuous enthusiasm and love your stories of IG too!
Asian salads
Italian
Sweets
Anything you is fantastic 😁😁😁
Best news ever! I would love a flavours of the world type of recipe book featuring authentic must-know top iconic 5-10 dishes from different parts of the world!
Some example cuisines: Mexican, American, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Turkish, Persian, Indian, Middle Eastern, North African, East European, Australian, Indonesian, Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Sri Lankan, Kenyan, British, Afghani etc. 😊 All the best with the project!
For the cookbook, please have lots of Vietnamese recipes!! Like your Vietnamese meatballs.
-A quick/simple section.
-Make ahead advice.
-Definitely all your notes (these are a game changer for me)
-Vegetarian options!! I need creative ways to get my family to eat veggies.
Also, just want to say, your recipes have completely changed the way I cook. I used to be a really bad cook 🤣 but everything I make from your site just turns out amazing. I feel like you have taught me how to cook and my family thanks you.
I would love to see ideas for feeding a family (well!) while camping! I keep seeing notes in various of your recipes about it and it taunts me – I want to know more!
Hi Nagi my favorite food is Indian, so anything Indian please – a great chicken balti or madras perhaps, with your take on it of course!
New recipe request – fig and nut bar (the sort you find in cafes and I think a lot are gluten free and contain pumpkin seeds)
Oh my gosh I’m so excited for a cookbook from you since every recipe of yours I’ve made has turned out amazing! I’d love to see recipes using lamb as an everyday protein in place of beef, I’m allergic to beef and while I’m pretty good at substituting myself I’d love to learn some tricks!
– Charlie sauce
– Homemade gourmet crackers
– Pavlova
– Chocolate cake
– emergency easy fish recipe Parmesan crumbed fish
– Poached chicken
WE REALLY LOVE THOSE EASY RECIPES LIKE YOUR BAKED RICE DISH ETC.
Can’t wait!! This is exciting! My wish list:
– Everyday seafood! Salmon, cod, shrimps, mussels. Fancy enough for a dinner party but easy enough for a weeknight.
– Cook ahead dinners (and tips on reheating)! For people with a full time job who still want to eat well during the week
– storing leftovers. In fact if every recipe can include tip on how to store the leftover it would be great
– more chicken!
– Ground chicken/beef/pork recipes
Thanks!
Thank you so much for all your great recipes.
You are definitely my main go to whenever I need to cook anything at all, or just want to imagine I want to cook. Keep it coming well done
Would really love to try your version of cabbage rolls.
Great work
Ps love Dozer too.
Well done Nagi!
I think your Lasagne recipe is the best I’ve ever made. Would love to see it in your recipe book.
