SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Congratulations Nagi, all your recipes in my humble opinion are amazing and would be worthy to appear in your upcoming cookbook.
for suggestions though; I would love to see a Gluten Free section.
Also Lemon Meringue pie, as you don’t have this on your website as yet.
Whatever goes into it, I am more than certain it will be wonderful, and many of us will buy it, and even come to your book signing because let’s be serious, we have to be out of lockdown by then.
Most of all, have fun compiling and experimenting with new recipes. xx
Ooh I agree with lemon meringue pie. Or even a pineapple meringue pie which I had a lot as a kid and always preferred to the lemon but never see recipes for
Hi Nagi would love more vegetarian recipes. What I’d really love would be thermomix recipes.
Dozer on every second page
YES!!!! 😂👏 N x
Congratulations Nagi that’s terrific news. I’d love to see your carrot cake recipe feature in your book, as well as the lamb shanks and the Mexican chilli chicken soup recipes. Anything else you add will be fabulous. You’re looking great btw! x
All the recipes I’ve made of yours have been lovely. Would love vegetarian entrees that aren’t noodle based.
we would love the dog birthday cake to be included ^..^
Thank you Nagi and Dozer
Hi Nagi – the recipes I like best from you are the takeaway options (eg, pad see ew, chicken and cashews and the like) and the more regular recipes like sausage rolls, white choc and macadamia biscuits, salads and roasts.
I agree – love the ‘take away’ type meals as well as the more regular ones. I love the chilli mac and and cheese – good, easy family meals are great!
In would like to see recipe’s using an Air Fryer as most people who use them say OMG its so good
The book cover must include a photo of Dozer (and your gorgeous face) on the front!!
Congratulations!!
I’m so excited for this!!!! I can’t tell you how often I pop over to this website when planning meals and it’s honestly been so much fun trying your new recipes during lockdown. Hopefully there’s at least one ground beef recipe in there 😉😉😉
I want to see a recipe for prawn sesame toast
YES! I did go through a phase of testing this one – something to go back to! N x
Hi Nagi and Dozer,
Congratulations of the new book and Recipe Tin meals. I would love to see maltese recipes, recipes for vegetarian loaves and a detailed section on uses for herbs and spices. A section on freezing vegetables and fruit is another idea.
Absolutely fantastic news Nagi. It’s going to be incredible! Unhelpfully I have no recipe requests, but would love an index of recipes that work well together. Maybe also have a webspace dedicated to this book so users can use the easy recipe scaling tool you have on your current recipes (so handy!!).
Hi Nagi &Dozer
I am soooo excited about your cookbook!!!
I LOVE all your recipes abs have made them for years.
Anything you put in I will be happy with
I can’t wait!

Hi Nagi, I’d love to see a chicken katsu curry recipe in your cookbook reminiscent of something you could get from coco ichibanya
