SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I love everything you do so no specific request from me other that please could the measurements also be shown in metric units as well as cups – really can’t get to grips with cups in the UK. Good luck – can’t wait to buy it xx

Congratulations Nagi, soo deserved. I’m excited because l luv recipe books and ONLY cook from your website. This is the best news!!
❤️❤️❤️ your attention to detail, l feel like you are cooking alongside me as l never have to second guess anything with all your (notes, videos, details etc) Time consuming for you, but please don’t change your format.
Slowly working my way through your recipes and gaining so much cooking confidence!
Hmmm new recipes, Penang curry, Carboni’s Italian kitchen make a ‘to die for’ Gnocchi Norcina (pork, fennel sausage, mushrooms, black truffle in creamy sauce) taken from a written menu. A similar style sauce would be epic on any pasta. Vegetarian meals for carnivores. Nagi is there any possibility of contacting you off a public domain to chat about supporting your covoid food charity?
The world is a better place because of YOU 🙏

    Hey Nagi

Just went to your blog (there is a shortcut on my home screen btw) and I realised you have no recipes with banana in them? No banana bread, no banana muffins, no banana pancakes. I’ll have to locate a banana muffin recipe elsewhere for now but might be a good addition to the cookbook?

Also the picture series that show what the meal should look like at each step are infinitely useful for both experienced and inexperienced home cooks.

    – Vietnamese Caramelised
    Pork Bowl
    – Laksa Noodle Soup
    – Pizza Dough recipe
    -Carnitas (Mexican Slow Cooker Pork)
    – Chicken Fried Rice

    I could keep going!!!

Please keep the calorie counter and it would be great to include more diabetic options.

Pretty much happy with most of the recipes you come up with and more of the same would be great. I have two go-to recipe books among the dozens on our shelves and am looking forward to add yours as my third. One ridiculous request in the dessert department: I have scoured the Internet for a good Sticky Apricot pudding to no avail. Pretty please, with sugar on top.

Congratulations! I’ve been such a fan since moving to Australia from Japan couple years ago. Found all of your notes in every recipe such a lifesaver – especially since I was still learning Aussie lingo and produce!

For new recipes, I’d love to see more roast recipes especially roast chicken. (It’s just something I have become obsessed cooking moving here haha).

Love all your recipes but please include your Lam Shank Massaman Curry and Marinated grilled salmon in your new cookbook.

Will it also be available as an electronic cookbook? Trying to eliminate paper cookbooks.

Love your recipes, they ALWAYS work and are ALWAYS tasty.
Common sense ingredients and super flavoursome.
In terms of recipes, I would have to say (in no particular order)
    • Parmesan Shortbread Biscuits
    • Donor Kebabs
    • Cornbread Muffins
    • Pork Belly
    • Naan Bread
    • Buffalo Wings
    • Parmesan French Toast

Really, it doesn’t matter but I will certainly be one of the first out there to buy it.

Congratulations Nagi. I’ve never been excited about a book release before, but here I am. Excited is an understatement. Yay. Love your Asian take on recipes so I personally would love that and a description of some new asian sauces condiments, that are hot right now, explained in the back.
