SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Hi Nagi, I am so very thrilled to hear about your cookbook. I am making your bun cha recipe right now. Every recipe I try from your site is fantastic. I look forward to purchasing your book in the near future. Please don’t forget to include your sweet pup Dozer in there, he is such a delight ❤️
I would appreciate a recipe for Chinese beef brisket stew with daikon.
As for your current recipes, your Thai chicken with cashews is amazing! – the first time I made it I couldn’t believe I could cook like that.
This is so exciting!! I use the chicken from your Greek gyros on a weekly basis so I’d love to see that in there! And the honey garlic chicken.
I will deffinitely buy your book, I love your recipes. But you must include your Naan Recipe. I have made this lots of times and it is great. Your Chicken Piccata is also good even though I don’t like capers.
Hi Nagi, I don’t think there is any one of your recipes which I have tried that doesn’t work. You are my Go To whenever I am looking for something new to try. I have loads and loads of cookery books, but can’t wait for yours to come out. As for recipes, I would like to see more for slow cookers or options for timings in a slow cooker. Also more metric quantities too please.

I’d love to see a section for just marinades. I frequently take your marinades and perhaps use them with a different protein, maybe I use pork and you used chicken as an example. And along the same idea, and section for salad dressings (and aren’t these really just a marinade for salad?) with options like the ones listed with the creamy avocado salad dressing. I can hardly wait for the book?
Your website is already perfect as it is (Dozer section included). So I hope it will be the same on the actual cookbook esp. the Tips & Notes section which includes substitute ingredients, variants etc. Would be nice to have a section of sauces and dips too.
Any simple Make Ahead dishes and casseroles for home entertaining with family and friends.
Presentation ideas always helpful too!
Finally!!! Waiting forever for a cookbook from Tineats!! Quick recipes are great! Making Asian meals simple. Breaking recipes down. Whatever you decide, I’ll be your first customer!
Please include fried or baked onion rings, crispy oven baked green beans and a doughnut recipe.
Looking forward to buying your book!
Also, I had SO much fun making your Persian feast recently. It was so cool making multiple recipes and also spending the day learning about Persian history, listening to Persian music etc woukd LOVE more cuisine specific menu sets like that
Would love a Swiss chicken recipe! It’s an old favourite from my childhood and I would be very excited to try your take on it.
I know I’ve asked for this before but it is really needed. I love most of your recipes but some are lacking ingredients. My wife has serious medical problems and I need information about sugar, salt, and potassium. Hopefully you can include this information in the book. Good luck

Hi Nagi,
I would love to see some exotic signature desserts from the
different countries !
Thank you😍
I’m going to be no help on what recipes to include in the cookbook, as I think you are an absolute genius with food and I know this is one I will turn to again and again. So maybe wipe-able pages for all the spills and splatters from frequent use! I discovered your website years ago and am so thrilled for you. You are truly deserving! (Oh and lots of Dozer content in the book!!)
I’ve been secretly waiting for this for a long time!!! I always print my favourite recipes, and now I rarely print recipes that are not yours.
I would love to have every meal of the day covered, basics and also ethnic menus (when I make your pork carnitas I also make your arroz rojo and pico de gallo :). The make-ahead tips would be very welcome, and maybe some substitutions. I’ve always appreciated the notes in your recipes.
I wish you the very best!! (I like how my two favourite food bloggers, both Australian, are making the proverbial lemonade out of the lemons lockdown gives us!)
Sorry about the reply to myself! I think I’d also like ethnic cooking shopping lists by cuisine so I can have the basics handy.
PS: I need a pork rack roast recipe!
This is the best news I heard all day! Congratulations Nagi!!
I would like to see a recipe how to make restaurant quality ramen. Please add it, please.
Wow, Nagi, that’s great and exciting news!
I would love to find one or another new slowcooker recipe.
You absolutely must include your strawberry crumble in the dessert section because it’s simply one of the best (sweet) things I’ve ever eaten, made it multiple times.
The same goes for the port braised lamb shanks. Need I say any more?
Yes, and nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes are always helpful. GO AHEAD! 🙂
I would love a recipe for Bastilla. When I first saw and tasted this dish I was blown away. Confection sugar on a main dish? A multi-layered mound with a filling so fine (and tasty) I could not identify what I was eating. If anyone could do this dish justice, you can. Best wishes for you cookbook, Nagi!
Excited for your book!!! 🥰🥰
If you could please include a section about sushi how to make it with all its different variations xx
Great idea, have you seen my Mother’s site here: https://japan.recipetineats.com/?s=sushi N x
