SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Here I am just about to purchase your cookbook and it’s not till next year… omg I’m like nail biting till this comes out….. seriously am hoping that there is a curried prawns in this cookbook…. I make curried prawns at home but it always taste like something is missing and I can’t figure out what. To me it tastes like it’s missing coconut milk or cream? I’m not sure when u would use either! Another tip I’d love to know. Ohhh I can’t wait for this cookbook I’m sooooooo looking forward to it. Stay safe Nagi and Dozer…. You both have saved my sanity while having Covid and being isolated. Much love xxx

Cacio e pepe. This is one of my favourite Italian pasta dishes. I love the one from Flour Eggs Water in Sydney and I have found one recipe that is good but I would love to see a Nagi one ❤️

Nagi, congratulations on taking the cookbook step. I always appreciate advice on oven temps, should it be fan forced or not, what shelf to cook on, how long to beat or whip something. Your instructions already do this, so please, don’t stray from your fantastic formula. How about an app next which will convert measurements for ingredients from different countries. The www has opened up a whole new cooking world to us, but cup sizes, spoon sizes differ.

Congratulations Nagi – So very excited for you!! I’d love for it to include the amazing Chocolate cake /chocolate buttercream icing recipe as well as the crazy moist Vanilla Cake recipe/Japanese shortbread cake. These recipes have turned a complete NON baker like me to the preferred birthday cake provider of our household, even over the fancy bakeries near our home! Who knew that I’d ever make a chocolate cake in to a Minecraft Creeper head?! The foolproof recipes I use from you gave me inspiration and confidence to bake and create!

Hi Nagi. Your recipies are great and I’m looking to the cookbook. My favourite part on the website is your tips section, so I’m hoping that can be included in the cookbook. I’d also like to know if meals are scalable and freezable. Thanks!

Congrats Nagi! I’d love to add your book to my collection! (You can never have too many!) My husband’s diabetic so the carb counts in your recipes are a plus! I’d like to see instant pot recipes and crockpot recipes too. I use alot of your recipes weekly! Thanks for all you do!

Your site is so user-friendly, I hope your cookbook reflects that. One of the things I LOVE about your site are the ‘NOTES’ section where you comment on alternative ingredients that can be used or give insight into using a particular ingredient. Again, a cookbook that reflects what already makes you and your site (and Dozer) stars 🙂

Love all your recipes Nagi and can’t wait for the cookbook! Some more recipes I’d love to see in the new cookbook would be: more recipes with almond meal, peal couscous, more Greek/Mediterranean meals. Maybe some more cooking options too such as slow cooker, air fryer, instant pot recipes!
Plus would love to see all your standard recipes from the website, especially the Thai/Asian meals. Oh and definitely all your baking/dessert recipes!
