SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

The meal I struggle with the most is weekend lunches! It needs to be quick, healthy and light, but interesting enough to get stroppy teenagers to the table. Dinner is always the main event so it’s hard to come up with ideas for lunch. And more yum cha recipes! We’ve had lots of fun with this as a weekend family projects during lockdown.
If you can crack weeknight cooking in the book then it will stay on the kitchen bench and not gathering dust on the shelf. And the key to that is menu planning! Ie each chapter could be a different type of food so you can pick one from each and get a weeks worth of variety! A chapter on side dishes and side salads would be great too. Good luck and thank you always!
Yes to the Thai and Asian recipes! I recently told myself no more cookbooks for a long while. And then this announcement. I shall make an exception 🙂
Please please please put your faster chicken stew recipe in the cookbook. It is my and my husbands’ favourite meal to make when we have the whole family over. We make this at least once a month

and have pictures of Dozer in there also 🙂
Hi Nagi, we absolutely LOVE every recipe of yours that we have tried! I would love it if you could include some recipes that don’t include garlic as I have an intolerance to it, or offer substitutes for alternatives in your recipes…
Khao Soi please, in chicken and a beef alternative. Such a delicious dish!
I happily volunteer to proof read and try out new recipes.
And I want to pre order 4 books for family and neighbours.
More scritches for Dozer. Xxx
Hargow dumplings (for my gluten intolerant friend) and roti canai flatbreads (to go with your satay sauce).
Big ask Nagi, but I know you are up to the challenge.
Lotsa scritches to Dozer. Xxx
I have loved every recipe I’ve made of yours! Thank you! What about a Truffle and Pancetta Mac and Cheese! Fancy comfort food… just what we need at the moment.
You could also do it two ways, indulgent then offer a healthy option.
The first recipe I ever made of yours was the Greek chicken gyros and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve made it since along with countless others I’ve since tried. Your book will be a great success, hope it’s gonna be available to buy in the UK x
I would love one-pot recipes! or sheet pan! really anything that requires minimal clean up:)
Congrats, well deserved. I’d love a recipe for a Thai soup base to freeze for quick weekday meals, and a tinned jackfruit curry recipe. Good luck.
You have so many delicious recipes that it’s almost impossible to pick out my favourites. However the ones I return to most often are your clever recipes which are low effort for super tasty results. Things like your no knead artisan bread, one pot pastas or rice, the crispy baked chicken or sausages, your chocolate cake with no tedious mixing, honey garlic chicken, slow cooked turkey breast. Friends and family never believe me when I say “it was so easy to make”!! I think that you do this better than any other food writer I’ve seen.
Picnic recipes please!
Nagi, congratulations on the book deal. I’ve recommended your website to so many people and I now look forward to buying this book for them for Xmas present 2022.
I’d like to see more vegetarian recipes in this book. It’s hard to come by vegetarian recipes that burst with flavour
Would love it if the book was split into two – easy/quicker weekday meals AND longer but so worth it recipes (entertaining vibes)!!! Helpful categories in a cookbook make life so much easier when planning out your meals. I would prefer to not have to dive into the method of every recipe to find out how long it will really take me to make it haha!
Also, my husband love veggie meals, so would love to see some of these (or even veggie variants of meat recipes as applicable).
All your usual recipe notes would be awesome too!! (Especially if there is no video to follow haha)
Nagi! You’re a favourite in our household. Thank you for all your amazing recipes. Congratulations on your book deal and we can’t wait to have a piece of you in our home.
Recipe wise, we would love a goat curry for something new and for something old your parmesan spuds or brussels are a crowd pleaser.
Your blueberry cake and your delicious carrot cake .
I’m sure they will feature in it . Love everything you cook
I am so excited about this! I also hope the book will be available in Europe. I have really enjoyed your ‘foundation recipes, eg marinades, spice rubs, curry sauces etc and would love more of these. I am single so recipes that can be scaled up and down would be great, as would recipes that can be frozen in smaller portions. I especially enjoy your Asian recipes.
This is in addition to my sauces comment. I forgot to add ground turkey and ground chicken. These 2 are so, so bland but it’s my staple and I use a lot of it. I just want it to taste delicious!
