SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I had to reset my phone, lost my free recipes plz sent a copy back to me
Hi Geraldine, send me an email with your return email address and I’ll have these sent asap! N x
How exciting Nagi! You will rock this, no doubt. Your attention to detail is unparalleled with how you write your recipes and the super helpful notes and tips you give. Yes, there are tons of food bloggers out there bashing out unoriginal and untested recipes, but not you! Each and every one of your recipes turns out five stars for me and that consistency to absolutely delicious results combined with great step by step instructions and side notes – it’s success for me each and every time I use one of your recipes. Thank you!! PS Love to see your spectacular Maple Glazed Ham recipe in the new book! Congratulations! And THANK YOU for sharing your passion with us all:)
Yeah can you please do a picture of the dish to go with each recipe
Most definitely Alison! N x
Congratulations, Nagi! Can’t wait to purchase your cookbook when it is released. I would love all your recipes in your cookbook but if that is not possible, please be sure to include your Vietnamese Coconut Caramel Chicken recipe. I had never come across anything like it until your post back in 2017! All the best. Xx
Congratulations on your upcoming cookbook, Nagi! I’m a huge fan of your recipes, and so is my husband, indirectly…he loves everything I’ve made from your site! One of the things I love the most about your recipe posts is how you explain everything that happens or can happen, like “What to do if your pot base is blackening” (Coq au Vin recipe). All of your explanations, notations, substitutions, different cooking methods, etc., are incredibly helpful and insightful!
One of my (our) absolute favorite recipes is the Braised Beef Short Ribs in Red Wine Sauce… absolute heaven! I make it (with boneless short ribs) 1-2x a month. That one would definitely be my “classic pick” to see in your cookbook!
By the way- will it be available in the USA?
Definitely your button chicken and chicken nacho recipe!
Just love your Cauliflower Soup, the Dreamy Creamy Cauliflower Soup, its beautiful
I don’t think I could pick a favourite! Every time I want to try something new, you’re my first stop and whatever is cooking is always delicious. My partner now knows that if I say it’s a new recipe, it’s from Nagi ☺️
I would love to have a book/s containing every one of your fantastic recipes. I do hate leafing through my hand-written notes to find a particular recipe.
Definitely the meatloaf recipe! I use it all the time
Ah yes! On the list to include for sure! 🙂 N x
Please include the five hour leg of lamb recipe – it’s the best!
Can’t wait for the book xxx
This is awesome and super exciting! I’d love it if you could include your sweet & sour pork recipe!
One more thing…..pictures of Dozer……
All your recipes are fabulous, so I will eagerly await its release…..
I will buy extra for gifts…..
Spiral bound would be my only wish…if no, I will take it to my local printer and have mine spiral bound…..
I consistently use your recipes. I wish that you would put popular recipes in your book too! I hate following recipes on my phone because I have to keep tapping them!
I love salads, dressings and soups. Especially ramen bowls.
I await your book. No tapping!
I would love if you could make Dutch kroketten because my family is Dutch and I can’t find a good recipe for them anywhere! I love your website it’s great!
I would love if you could make Dutch kroketten because they are really yummy and I can’t find a good recipe for them anywhere! I love your website it’s great!
I love every one of your recipes that I have tried! Think you might need more than one book, Nagi 🙂
Exciting! Make ahead meals for week nights, and tweaks for fussy and/or allergy eaters and keep the notes with alternatives for those without a glamorous supermarket range!
Not just one book please but a series of books. I’d really like every single recipe of yours printed in a book.
I agree!
I am here for this! Totally agree, so many recipes and so much knowledge, a range would be amazing… and don’t forget a special co-write with your Mum!
