SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I really appreciate your “regular people” international recipes. Don’t get too haute cuisine. 🙂
Hi Nagi I love all your recipes but love to try different recipes from other countries stirfry’s Indian I love them all and your asian recipes have to be in your book!! Love DozerToo
I am a lover of casseroles! The 9 x 13 pan/dish is used a LOT in my house! I have made many of your recipes and hope you include some more casseroles in your cookbook. Kisses for Dozer xx
Yes, casseroles please, but some that are dairy-free (hard to find)
Great idea Barbara!! N x
Hi Nagi, i love all your recipes.living on my own i would love to see some recipes for one or two people as i have no family. Maybe being able to freeze leftovers.
Thank you you are one very special lady and Dozer is a joy to see.x
You will have to include your gozlene recipe in the book! It’s just the best. Recipes – I just want meat free, seafood is fine. Just for environmental reasons.
Nagi you are my go to for all recipes. So easy to follow and love the tips and hints.
Any recipes for kids to encourage good eating and appreciation of food. Love Dozer too!
Will buy your book for sure!
I wish this was available already. My family and I love your recipes, can you fit them all in one book?! What about a TexMex book, you could include Quesadillas, Slow Cooked Beef Brisket and Cornbread. Yum.
More lamb shoulder recipes please! I cook your slow roasted lamb shoulder all the time but would love something spiced 🤞🏻
Hi Tanya, have you tried my lamb shawarma? It’s amazing!! N x
Hi Nagi. I’d love to see easy after work family recipes. Little effort but big flavour. A few lunchbox ideas would be good too!
Great idea Kelly!! N x
Hi Nagi, very excited, I will be on the waitlist to buy before the release date for sure. With your help, our family has had many wonderful evenings around the dinner table. Your recipes come to my rescue on those night where I don’t feel like cooking but want to offer something easy to cook, but delicious to eat. Your Creamy Lemon Chicken, 5 Ingredient Sticky Stove Top Balsamic Drumsticks, Chicken Stew (Casserole) and Chile Con Carne recipes are some of our favorites. Like many others, would love to see main dishes, family friendly recipes, quick and fewer ingredient (or pantry staple) recipes, maybe some with ground beef/chicken in them as it’s easiest to defrost and cooks quickly. Maybe a pie? I’ve cooked some of your delicious meat pies, but they are definitely a weekend endeavor. Would love to see one that I can do as a surprise on a weeknight using store bought crusts/filo. Although, maybe that’s asking too much? 🙂 Thanks for everything you do Nagi! Although I could cook before I discovered your website, I couldn’t cook without a recipe. Your detailed notes have sort of taught me enough about technique, flavors, and substitutions that I can come up with a fairly decent meal without a recipe if needed.
I would love a section for slow cooker recipes that are family friendly and suitable for a family of four, as I have 2 kids aged 2 and 5. Main meals would be most preferable, but maybe other things like desserts in a slow cooker would be good too.
Congrats – this is very exciting news – your recipes are the best!
As for ideas. Section on salad dressings, stir fry dressings, basic spice rubs, curry paste mixes etc & basics please.
Definitely pics of each recipe.
Love reading through little stories about the recipe as well.
Your cookbook will make awesome Christmas gifts to give next year.
Hi Nagi,
I’ve recently discovered your site and am loving it. I’ve tried a couple of curries so far but mean to try more.
Unless I’ve missed them you don’t have any recipes for fish pie, nor for Karniyarik (Turkish lamb stuffed aubergine). Two for the book? Happy to share my recipes as a starter.
Hi Luke, I do have one for fish pie here: https://promotown.info/fish-pie/%3C/a%3E N x

I cannot wait for this book to be published, im sure it’s going to be a sellout!! I personally would love to see a section in the book for “Cooking for 2” as im new to cooking for 2 and takes some getting my head around. I know all your recipes have the scale for cooking for different amounts of people but, sometimes scaling it down just isn’t the same.
Hello, Nagi! Thank you for doing what you do and sharing it with us! Please include fish recipes and healthy-yummy snacks for kids, some treats for pet dogs, coffee and dessert pair, and ramen! Godspeed! Looking forward to your cookbook!
And I cannot wait for your cookbook.
I love your recipes
Your white rice recipe! So many people would love that!
Also, I’m 13 and this is the only website I have a shortcut to! I use it all the time. Right now I’m making some flatbread. And the sandwich bread! 🥰 Your awesome! Thank you for making all your recipes!
Baked oatmeal. More healthy options with flavor.
Hainan chicken with rice, thai boat noodle and korean beef stew (ttukbaegi bulgogi)
I love all these ideas!! N x
