SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

It’s so hard to find gluten free recipes that are good tasting and don’t have a weird texture. It would be great if you could include a few. Love your recipes everything has been so good.

Definitely Meat Pie and Sausage Roll have to be in your book! Love, love, love your easy to follow instructions… especially being an Aussie bloke who likes to cook but loves to eat! 🥳

You are definitely my “go-to” for recipes when I want to feed the family a nice dinner and I want it to be delicious! I look to you for flavor not health! These are the same recipes that often result in ample leftovers, so it would be nice to include recipes that reuse the leftovers. I really love the flexibility you offer with preparation; having instructions for stovetop, the slow cooker and the instant pot is fantastic! No matter how much time I have, I know it will result in something scrumptious!

Gozlemes – they are the best. Would love to see a section for the many campers getting around for using a thermo pot.

I love all your recipes and have gotten lots of friends onto your website. The thing I love most is the videos to show we are doing it right. So I’m not sure how a cookbook will translate that, except to ask for lots of progressive pictures.
One recipe if love, and I know you say cakes aren’t your thing, but I’d love a really good, easy Russian Honey Cake.

More recipes that don’t need big equipment like food processors or big Kitchen Aid mixers. Don’t have either or the room to store them.
Please include your Swedish meatball recipe. It is the first one I tried and will always be our favorite.

I love all your recipes. Roasted Turkey breast, pot roast, beef short ribs, chicken and rice bake. Your instructions are right in spot, your notes, alternatives. No one else has the explanations like you do. You cook a recipe – before just putting it out there. Love them all.

I am just so excited for the book. my only suggestion would be to include a picture for each recipe. I hate making a recipe that doesn’t have a photo. congratulations!

A section on the best way to store food (fruit/veggies/ham – whatever).
Would be great if there is a cooking alternative, for instance can it also be make in a pie cooker, air fryer etc.

Hi Nagi…I love all your Asian recipes, and find it almost impossible to choose a favourite! Your hot and sour soup is Devine, as is your Vietnamese caramelised pork bowls. I can’t wait for your recipe book to arrive in NZ! 😊

    Hi Nagi!

I’ve been trying out your recipes for the past few years and NONE- I mean NONE have ever disappointed. I’ve made chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, biryani, naan breads, spaghetti and meatballs, cookies, pancakes, cakes, char sui bao (hope I spelled that right), some other Italian dishes. I have LOVED every single one.

When I have family over for the summer- we have a “cooking competition”. I direct my little cousins to your website and they have to make any desert on your page. It’s a huge win as I get to try your desserts as judge without any labor on my part.

Anyways, I love the heart and hard work you put into all of these cuisines. You are a light in this world! I taste love in the food!!
