SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I love your Asian cooking and was wondering if you had a recipe for Ham and Chicken rolls that my local Chinese make. They look like they are covered in some sort of fat net are about 2cm thick.

Our family favourites are the laksa, Buffalo wings, hot&sour soup, fried rice, pad thai and the Greek chicken gyros – and we love the red velvet cupcakes too!

I am so excited for this cookbook! I’ll probably throw all my others away!
I second the Laksa! It is the ONLY recipe my husband and I have rated 10/10. Of every recipe we’ve ever tried from anyone!
Also, your beef cheeks in red wine, with the Paris mash.
And your Thai lettuce wraps and satay sauce

Hi Nagi, I first found your blog in 2019 when I was looking for a cornmeal bread recipe, but unfortunately I lost track of your blog and couldn’t find it again (maybe because I’m in Canada and you’re in Australia and the search engine has something to do with it?).

But anyway, I recently found your blog again and every single recipe I have tried are hits. My husband and I are very impressed and we will definitely buy your cookbook when it’s published. I’m so glad that I found your blog. Many thanks, Nagi <3

This so exciting! I love your recipes and use them all the time. Your cookbook would definitely not be gathering dust on my shelf. I’m gluten free and would love it if you could throw in a gf dessert recipe.

Oh Nagi i cant wait for the cookbook – i will be vying for a signed copy. Of course Dozer has to be on the cover!!!! Just tried your dump fried rice – amazing, and so easy – maybe include suggestions on what else would go with a certain recipe (ie: i was thinking i might do your ‘chicken and cashews’ with the fried rice – or your ‘mongolian beef’). Thank you so much for giving me joy in cooking again, and my Husband is a big fan of yours as well (especially the salisbury steaks).

Congratulations Nagi! I love a bit of food porn so please have a photo for each recipe. I wonder if you could include a couple of recipes with some unusual ingredients (maybe in the substitutions list for people feeling experimental)? Eg I’d love to use more Australian native ingredients but don’t really know how. Or perhaps have some stellar recipes from less well known cuisines?

So excited for this. There’s something about a beautiful glossy cookbook that you can hold in your hands. Whenever I cook your recipes I look so clever and get rave reviews. I particularly appreciate your ‘substitutions’ section and the added nutritional information – helps with a range of health concerns.

Anxious about the unvailing of your cookbook. There was an English TV show that featured a detective that opened a restaurant and his specialty was Steak and Kidney Pie. I found a few recipes but none with the clarity of yours. Want to take the challenge?

    Orecchiette sausage pasta
    Bun cha
    Lemongrass chicken noodles
    Curry chicken
    General Tso chicken
